I’ve had a chronic liver condition from a young age so it’s something I’ve dealt with for most of my life. So finding a skilled and trustworthy gastroenterologist has been of utmost importance. And to that end, I am very glad and relieved that I have found Gastroenterology Associates, and I absolutely look forward to continuing to be their patient well into the future. I am a patient of Dr. Arnold and he is an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable gastroenterologist. He is also very easy to speak with, he explains things very well, and frankly if you are looking for a great liver doctor a term I sometimes use in conversation / look no further. My friend who was my “colonoscopy buddy” my ride, basically, sat in on the end of that procedure when Dr. Arnold spoke with me, and she too came away impressed with him as a medical practitioner. Five stars, absolutely.
I am so proud to say this is my gastro! They take care of you and go above and beyond to fix a issue when others fail you! Thank you to all the ladies up front and the office manager who treat us like people and not just a bank deposit. Edited: I do have to say not all doctors on staff have good bedside manner. Please take time to speak to your patient like a human not as a robot trying to push thru the job and get done. Ive only experienced this with 1 provider in this office.

My family & I have been coming to the Warrenton & Gainesville office for procedures EGDs/colonoscopies for 15+ years. Have always had a + experience! These procedures can be scary & nerve racking & we have always felt at ease & in competent care. From the front desk to the medical staff everyone has always been friendly, kind & caring! Your in good hands!
the general staff is wonderful and i will begin with that to be fair. sarah especially is wonderful and professional and brightens my day every time i see her. on the flip side of that the office is horrible with appointments with the doctors them selves and regularly pawn me off on some NP who knows little to nothing about their field. communication with this office is sparse at best and recently they decided they would no longer provide my care simply because i missed a set of labs. don't ever give them a cent of your money, doctors and thieves both wear masks and they are one and the same here.
I am not a huge fan of their Manassas location which made me nervous about all the other locations, but I must say this location was amazing! I was very pleased with how the staff treated me. My nurse Carol was great! Dr.Phatak was thorough with explaining what was going to happen during the procedure. She also took the time to discussing her findings and answer all my questions with ease. Once again, lovely staff.
Tried for weeks to schedule a consultation without a single return call. Phone just goes to answering service during business hours now. Can't say anything about the doctors as it's apparently IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE ANYONE THERE.
They almost killed me I had a huge stress ulcer with a stricture that is connection stomach to small intestine. Dr B did a scope couldn’t get through to open stricture and left me like that told me to call office to schedule another endoscope. This was an emergency I couldn’t keep fluids or food down I lost over 60lb. Thank God I called INOVA where the surgeon saw it was a medical emergency and put a stent in and has followed me ever since then. He would call me himself to make sure I was ok. He cared about his patients Gainesville GI doesn’t care. I wouldn’t send my dog to them their dangerous and don’t care.
ZERO stars!!!! Receptionist is RUDE!!! After leaving SEVERAL messages, NO ONE from scheduling calls back to schedule procedures!!! These people are a waste of time!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
Dr. Baroni is great. He is one of the best. He will give his all to try to figure out what is going wrong with your GI issues.
