There were homeless camps, no people but apparent camps along the sidewalk under the bridge. Wouldn’t let it ruin your experience but just advise to be careful
Look forward to the upcoming renovations! Beautiful little area; perfect for reflection
Took an early morning run along the river. Nice scenery and pretty well thought out park. The homeless folks definitely added some character.
Sad situation. Park had dopeheads, crackheads or just homeless all around. Place grown up like it's becoming a jungle. Don't waste time energy or even a breath until the city does something to improve all the trash n the area..
The place is abandoned and the statue has been removed. Nothing to see here.
Too bad they are moving the Otis Redding statue but I guess it will be good where he ends up and when the trail is finished it will be a great walk, run or bike ride nice scenery when it's done
A nice spot to relax, fish, and enjoy the river. However, do be aware of the homeless encampment behind the railroad tracks. Probably not a good evening spot.
This is a great location for a riverside park with trails, statues and views available but currently with the construction occurring on the bridge the park is not in great shape.
Its a cute little park. The homeless people don't mess it up either. They are very nice
The area is terribly overgrown and run down and appears to have lots of homeless people living in the area which doesn't make it feel very safe
