This is a rip off place, first, they ask you to put a card in the machine, otherwise you can't enter to the parking, no sign telling you about the next minute after 8 hours will be another $25, they shouldn't charge you the full amount after the 8 hours. I'm going to report it to the BBB. This is really unfair and I wont be back to this place.
Ignore the previous reviews. This is place is totally fine. It's now called Cross Border Parking. Like any place, there are pros and cons but the pros far outweigh the cons. Pros: 1 easy walking distance to Ped East border crossing, 2 not terribly cramped, 3 lot is attended 24/7, and 4 attendants are very helpful. Con: very expensive--$30 for 24 hours Mo-Th, $45 for 24 hours Fr & Su, $75 for 24 hours on Sa. Billing increments very 8 hours. Most of the time, your ticket will be your phone number, rather than a paper ticket. I parked a rental car there for 3 days with luggage in the trunk, and had no problems whatsoever. Yes, it's really expensive, but so is everyone else. In my book, the service and security is worth every penny. I would park there again in a heartbeat.
This place is a RIP OFF!!. They charge $25 for 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday is $12 but if you go over even 10 mins at 12:01am which is Sunday they charge $50!!! Scammers! Don’t park here. Bad guys!
Gateway parking is a ripe off, the signs says one thing, but when park it will 25.$ no matter how may hours you park. Dishonest.
DONT PARK HERE! I get that its $25 for 8 hours, but I parked for 8:30 and had to pay a whole $50! This place is a rip off, just use one of the many other lots around.
It used to Like this place. The new machines won't give your change in cash. The skinny guy w/long hair is a thief. Don't give him your card or cash. I will never return to that parking lot. What a shame!!!
I parked there once so far and i had no issues. Only 8 dollars for every 8 hrs u pay upfront and if u go over u pay the difference.
