I can’t say enough about the quality of Service and consistently knowledgeable crew. We always trust our business and our repairs to geek squad. We order their highest warranty and best service plans. It is always worth the investment. They were out again and repaired another television in sound bar. Thank you geek squad!
Call center, uncomfortable with tech did not continue with conversation...Next day received scam billing for over $350.00 and they were charging our bank account.

One of the poorest computer tech customer care service experiences I've ever had was with Geek Squad at Best Buy. The tech spent a few minutes on my computer and told me to do a factory reset which would wipe out everything including the hard drive on my computer. He told me this even before properly diagnosing it. Told me how to do a factory reset at home. He was very cavalier about it and seemed distracted. I went home and discovered it was totally unnecessary. Got a second opinion and found out that wiping out everything on my computer would have been unnecessary and destructive. It ended up being a simple problem and was fixed easily. To boot, I relayed my story to the manager of Geek Squad and he said it was "standard procedure". I found out this wasn't true at all. He was also defensive. In other words, he was rude and dishonest. Maybe he was covering for what happened instead of offering better service. Just don't bother going to this place. Find some techs who will take the time and care and be professional.
Called and was told it would be $40 for a consultation whether they thought they could fix it or not. Then was tried to be talked into getting their $200 a year membership after repeating I needed a one time problem fixed. Then I got hung up on when trying to set up the consultation...at that point I decided 3 strikes your out. Probably not a good place to get your computer repaired...seems like they're in it to sell memberships and the $ alone..not to help with your problems in exchange for $. Will be spending my $ elsewhere
I tried to talk with someone at the Geek Squad at the Medford store. The first time I tried I got forwarded multiple times by operators and phone trees. Then I waited for quite some time, then they hung up on me. The second time I got the same forwarding operations, then the phone just rang and rang and no one ever answered. I'm going somewhere else for help obviously.
