I bought my laptop from Best Buy and I bought the top tier insurance they offered me. There was an issue with my screen, and all of a sudden the insurance doesn’t cover it and they said I need a different insurance which they did not even offer me, they told me the top tier covers everything. Bruce then tells me it will be $400-$500 and take a few days. I just needed my laptop fixed ASAP so I said fine. It took over a month to get my laptop back. And they tried to charge me over $600. I also heard Aaron laugh with Bruce that they got my password, which they told me they required but they don’t. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable that two grown men were laughing at having my password as I am a young woman. I asked to speak to management, who was Alyssa. Her response was ‘I dont mean to belittle you or diminish your experience, but I wasnt there so there is nothing I can do’. I told her to have Adriana call me asap. I received no call, and when I call there, there is no manager to speak to apparently. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I cannot believe headquarters thinks this is okay. However, it seems this is a pattern that they do not care about their customers judging from their awful ratings. Always choose Apple. They charged me 50% what Best Buy did and had my laptop ready in 3 days and were completely amazing and transparent the whole way through. Proper customer service and highly trained staff.
Came in with a laptop that needed to be formatted didn't have a bitlocker password and they said the charge was around $190, went to another computer repair shop and they did it for $95, with reinstall of windows and removal of bitlocker garbage. No need to overcharge. But service was quick at least.
I had to give one star because you can't give zero stars. If you enjoy dealing with totally unempathetic propeller heads then step right up. Paid for a service call and then told over the phone the same day as the appt. they can't help. Wasted the day waiting for them to arrive and then had to battle Mr. Bryan for my refund. Just a bunch of belligerent twits.
Horrible experience. Never tells you that there's a penalty if you wanna cancel your membership early. Only wants to take your money. Don't waste your time and money with these people.
I called five times this week, got put on hold for and hour every time and still haven't been able to reach them. The call would literally take one minute, but the wait is way to long.
I wish can give them I zero star but I can't the people that work there are rude and they just don't want to help you they only want the money too
