This was a fun little diversion. I have travelled the I10 many times and this was a welcomed stop. We found a geocache on the opposite side of the road where the original desert camps were located. The museum was packed with plenty memorabilia of the General along with all kinds of military surplus from his time and current. Thanks for the great museum. Stop in to see all General Patton did to help secure our freedom.
This was a great spot to stretch your legs and learn about some of the military training for WW2. Around the backside of the building there's more tanks to look at. There's a huge memorial wall outside, the American flags are kinda low so watch yourself cause one smacked me in the face if your just walking around the area give yourself a good 15 or 20 mins. Going inside you need more time
Very interesting little museum. My family and I had a great time learning about all the war memorabilia. A lot of cool items on display. If you're ever in that area, I suggest visiting Ticket prices: active duty military: free, adult $15, veterans $13, & kid $7.
Real cool facility exploring military hardware and people. However you need to have a liking for big guns, etc. Bonus is the free campsite they have outback. Spotted half a dozen campers ready to spend the
An amazing museum honoring the service of General Patton. Tanks from the 60s, cavalry saber that he redesigned per commission from the Army due to his swordsman experience. So many interesting fa to, especially his death. Google it.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Well put together and maintained. Places to reflect at the Memorial Walls before entering or after visiting museum. More than just about General Patton, the supply of World War II and other artifacts will keep History buffs and casual observers alike, captivated. pun not intended Small children will love the tanks and heavy equipment displays. You can step into a tank using the provided Arch staircase.
I came here in 2008 and brought my family with me today. They have expanded and have so much for to see. I could've spent days just in the library alone. This is amazing history, it's worth the stop. My 8 year olds loved it and so did my husband. If your a history/WWII lover, come see this.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Great checkpoint on your way back to California from Vegas. Lots of physical war artifacts from The Great War to Desert Storm. There is a gas station and restaurant nearby. I've never seen a tank close up, but i got a good dose of it here.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
