I needed a Dr who takes Husky insurance, but I should have read the reviews first. There's seems to be no communication between the doctors and nurses, I had to go over things twice and felt like the dr didn't understand that I had already discussed everything with the nurse! She also wants to send me for bloodwork that I already did this year with my old Dr when they don't even have my medical files yet! Super unprofessional and very much like "this is what will happen goodbye". Probably won't go back. I saw Dr Chery.
Dr. Krassner and the nurses in the behavior health department have always been great, HOWEVER, reception is ALWAYS so rude for some reason. I live 45 minutes away and they have failed numerous times to inform me when I'm have an 'in office' appointment. I live 45 minutes away and have a toddler so I absolutely need notice. Every time I call because I never received a call for my 'telehealth' appointment I'm told with an attitude that it was in office.. and whenever I tell them I wasn't told that they never take accountability and are incredibly rude. I only go here because it's the only place that takes husky that doesn't have an insane waiting list.. it's unfortunate to be treated poorly while getting help from the state.
Generations in Willimantic is awful. Hard to get appts, in person appts consist of doctor typing on a computer - doesn’t listen to patient concerns and in a rush to get you out. My father was w this awful doctors office for years and finally moved him to one that will help rather than prescribe meds and send him on his way without further testing or checking back to see how they are working. Terrible terrible doctors, if you want a doctor that will actually care about their patient, I suggest never going to this office. This office should be shut down.
Dr Wiseman is my primary care physician. He is the best and most caring doctor, I have ever had. He spends at least an hour with me, in the exam room. I never feel hurried, like some doctors in the past. The staff is excellent, with any follow up, and scheduling. I highly recommend Generations !!!!
Worst doctors office I've ever been to. You wait 45 mins past your appointment to be seen. Changed dosages ony medications without telling me. They offered assistance on some things, telling me they were going to calle in a week about it then never did. I waited 3 hours past my appointment just for the over the phone appointments. They treat me absolutely terrible just because I'm in recovery. Don't waist your time.
Please read if you're a dental patient. I only go for dentist work and the simple things were fine, fillings and cleanings had no problem! I needed partial dentures and I'm disabled due to epilepsy. They took advantage of my insurance and I paid a large sum of money out of pocket as well. They weren't very helpful when I presented my concerns. I was met with bad attitude and degraded by the specialist that spoke with me. Being disabled is hard enough as it is, and being treated like that only makes it worse. I hope this helps someone in my position. It truly is hard to find good care with Husky insurance which is the only reason I'm there.
The most awful doctors, never respond to patient's, not on the network for other doctors to see..a just don't care
Went for dental appointment. Just for them to tell me that they didn't submit the paperwork that they were supposed to do 6 months ago and now I got to do it all over again and now it's going to take another 6 months to a year before I'm allowed to get my bottom teeth again I think it's time for me to change dental places maybe go to private dental I feel like I waited 6 months for this appointment for nothing of course so anybody else reading this go someplace else
Don’t ever go to the NP Jung de Thouars. Both times I’ve seen her, she spent zero time trying to listen and understand the issue, made a snap judgment, and spoke to me like I was stupid. In the winter of 2019-2020 at one point I went in because I couldn’t breathe, had intense flu symptoms, and couldn’t stay awake. She said it was allergies as soon as she entered the room and refused to even test me for any virus. I even had to say “well can you at least listen to my lungs or something?” Today at a telehealth appointment she told me I’m not eating enough protein after I had just told her I eat lean protein at every meal, and then she insinuated that I’m stupid and I’m “just not getting it.” She is by far the worst provider I’ve been to, and I went to a doctor who misdiagnosed my gall bladder attacks as “heartburn” for three years. Avoid this woman at all costs; she doesn’t care about you and probably thinks you’re beneath her.
Don’t ever go to marcel devoux for a doctor. I been needing my meds for 4 days and been calling generations and all they can say is “I’ll send the doctor a message” but he never gets back. Doesn’t care if ur out of meds and takes his sweet time even tho it’s his job. Didn’t even tell me anything until I finally got on the phone with him after days of blowing them up. Just for him to do what he already gets paid to do.. if u ever get marcel as a doc leave IMMEDIATELY
