Great store, they do an excellent job of merchandising and have great clothes. Very convenient hours and great service. I like doing business with them and it is perfect for my son also, who is in his early 20's.
Immediately walked in and was greeted with a rather repellent odor. As mentioned in a previous review, don't bring your coffee in the store. The owner whom is very unpleasant will condescendingly ask you to put your coffee on the ground, pathetic! The price point on his clothes do not match the quality- this is coming from someone who has tailored suits and clothes from some of the most reputable stores in Kansas City not the mall. I might have caught Geno on a bad day and would be willing to give his store a second chance, but the repellent odor that greets you as you open the door is enough to keep me coming back- for good.
Geno is always and has always been helpful and attentive to the needs and concerns my friends, family and I have had. He may seem forceful, but he really wants you to discover your best look. I have found the best deals and styles from him. I will always comeback for the one of a kind styling and excellent quality of service.
I bought a suit for $500. and a shirt for $100. Alterations were included which I thought was nice. But it was terribly tailored. Not even close to fitting me well. I should've known with how little time he took to pin it and ask how I felt with it on. I assumed he knew what he was doing. Then he told me it would take a week to fix it, but I didn't have that much time and had already waited week. Luckily I found a tailor who helped me last minute. Nice clothes, but was not attentive to detail on the alteration, more interested in pushing a sale and didn't care about his poor work after I had paid.
Visit Geno's and take a step back in time, yes a step back in time when personal service was the standard of care. As soon as you walk into this nice compact mens store, Geno and Tyson look at you and already know your size. You do have to help them out and tell them what you're looking for. The suits are of great quality. Just stand there and be served like royalty. They will tell you what you look good in and what you don't look good in. Of course, you have to have some common sense your self to decide what is your style and what is not. I ordered two suits and am looking forward to picking them up next week. The prices are reasonable for the service and goods that you get. They are open 7 days a week so there is no excuse to not drop in and have service like you were back in the 1960s. While many young people are not accustomed to having service, this may seem like a pushy experience, but it's not. Enjoy the experience and give Genos a try.
Never an issue with Geno or Tyson. I've purchased three Jack Victor suits and sport coats and one Copley suit from Geno's and they are terrific. The fit is fantastic thanks to Tuyet thier tailor who I might say is meticulous. My favorite clothier to shop at.
Best place to go in KC if you need awesome threads. They are great at figuring out what fits you best, and matches your lifestyle. Tip top, deserves 10 stars!
If you want to look great, and feel great, the wardrobe choices at Geno's are top notch! The staff is very attentive, and the service is great. I would highly recommend stopping in sometime and checking them out.
A message to the millennials- Pretty good inventory- but what I am assuming was the owner- not so pleasing. My fiance and I who we both are in our late 20s and have pretty reputable careers walked in one Saturday to purchase some St. Croix for my fiancé and Tommy Bahama for my father. My fiancé had coffee with a closed lid in his hand. The moment we walked into the store- the employee who I am assuming was the owner based off other signifiers immediately said “Watch your coffee” to my fiancé in a rather harsh tone. My fiancé- assumed he was just lightly joking- said “yes, of course!” and the employee just looked away behind his desk. Very rude, not respectful. He then proceeded to not even get up from his seat or ask if we needed assistance finding anything. I understand we may look young, but we both are very presentable individuals who carry ourselves with dignity and respect to understand that if we soil your property- of course we would pay for it. My fiancé and I have purchased multiple items from this store and contributed a significant amount of business- but going forward, I would have to decline. A message to management- if you’d like your brand to stay in business, I would not only focus on your dying demographic, but also give attention to the younger generation who appreciates the style you are selling.
Beautiful store, superb customer service and Geno is your personal shopper!!! I was going out to lunch and stopped by to get some pants and jeans. By the time I was done with lunch he had everything altered and waiting for me with a smile! Best experience ever!!!! I highly recommend them!!! Thank you
