I feel Jim Eftink did a wonderful job representing my family in court. He went above and beyond to help us win our case. As well as Gerard Eftink. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a family lawyer. We appreciate everything they did for us!
Jim Eftink was absolutely FANTASTIC. I see on here that there are some bad reviews over “Guardian adlitem” situation. Jim was not my guardian adlitem, but what I’ve found out over the past couple of years of dealing with the court systems, that’s just how the position of “Guardian Adlitem” is. Guardian Adlitems are NOT what you think they are supposed to be. I’ve had multiple on our case and they ALL handled it the exact same way. So I can’t speak much on that, BUT I can speak on the fact that the ENTIRE eftink law firm is absolutely top of the line. Jim Eftink went so far above and beyond for my entire family it’s not even funny. He was absolutely the best family lawyer I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with before in my life. He was Honest, Diligent and REALLY knew what he was doing. It was a very long drawn out process and Jim stood firm the ENTIRE time. Every time I had litterally any questions or concerns that I could possibly think about, Jim was always right there with all the answers. And if he wasn’t there when I needed something, his father Gerard would step up to bat and hit nothing but home runs. And if neither were available, their receptionist Amy would always steer me in the right direction. So long story short, if you know you are NOT in the wrong, and your willing to handle reality properly with realistic expectations, then the entire Eftink firm is the firm for you. The only thing that proves cases is time. Strap up because it is a WILD ride. But if you’re being represented by any of the Eftink’s, just know that you are in GREAT hands. Jim is worthless. He was my foster children's gal and he never once met me or my husband or our foster children. Our kid's case has gone on for 5yrs our one foster son will be 6 this month. He should have never been a guardian ad litem.
Jim Eftink is very professional, trustworthy and dependable. He did an amazing job and helped me tremendously in traffic court. I was stunned at the outcome, so relieved and happy! Mr. Eftink is honest and passionate. He even sent me money back after he saved my driving license. I will go to Jim everytime in the future!
Gerry Eftink was outstanding in representing me during a 7 year long court battle. He was honest and very professional at all times even when the opposing counsel and his client were not. He returned all phone calls and emails in a timely manner, usually the same day. His case law was spot on especially since this case was difficult and very confusing. I did prevail but reality is, everyone in this case lost. I would recommend Gerry Eftink to anyone needing legal services. Thank you Gerry and your staff for everything.

Jim Eftink is by far one of the worst human beings I know. He turned a blind eye to my ex husbands abuse toward our children. He lied in a state child support hearing to aid my ex husband in avoiding adequate child support. He supported my ex husband in violating a court ordered parenting plan which resulted in me not seeing my son for 69 consecutive days. He misrepresented my other son in court painting him as a violent, aggressive out of control teen. He destroyed my children, split 2 brothers up and put them in separate households. BEWARE!!!! You do not want this man representing you or your children. His actions in my case were beyond tragic.
Gerry was great guiding me & my Mother through the Living Will process. He was very patient and explained every detail. I highly recommend his services.
My friend use Jim Eftink and this man is worthless as an attorney. If you want to lose your case this is the guy for you. He will not stand up for you in court. This man just goes thru the justice system and does nothing when it comes to presenting your case. It doesn't matter to him if you lose your case due to his late of interest in winning he will get his money either way. Sad that this man is an attorney.
Gerard is nice enough, but he is ill prepared and doesn't listen well. He is also very passive. I would not recommend him.
