It was at my saddest moment that I had to contact Greg, my mother passed away, and I was distraught. Greg and Shawn made sure to first comfort me and reassure me that that my mom would be treating with the respect she deserved. They asked for all the things I would not have ever thought of, from clothing to a picture so they could recreate her original look. I must say they did an amazing job, despite all of my mother had been through she looked amazing! Shawn took care of everything including all the paperwork to send her overseas. I know everyone wants the best for their loved ones as they enter their last journey. If the best is what you want, then trust Greg, Peter and Shawn. Thank you so much for making this very sad time a little less overwhelming for our family. We appreciate your constant updates , and absolutely understand that there are many moving parts when planning a funeral, thanks for all the coordinating, it means a great deal to me that I didn’t have to deal with the cemetery, consulate, or airlines because you guys took care of all of that for us! Thanks to you my family and I could concentrate on our grief, and mourning the death of our mother.
Our experience with Gerity & Chubenko Funeral Home has been nothing short of comforting during this most difficult and tragic time in our lives, We found ourselves completely unprepared for the tragic loss of a life ended too soon. Shawn helped us navigate through the difficult process by taking off pressure with his expertise and guidance. He gave us practical advice and helped us to work within our budget to lay our beloved father to rest. We have used them twice for both grandparents who passed within a year and a half of each other and BOTH times they were PHENOMENAL! Wonderful place. We thank you for allowing all of our relatives say goodbye to our beloved grandfather. 10 people max but you let a few more then that and gave us enough time to say our last words. Very peacefully, very nice place, my grandfather was in good hands. Very affordable i highly recommend this place. Thank you so much.
I use them twice within a eleven month first was for my Husband and second was for my Father. Shawn and team was very nice and understanding they made these hard time for my family and I easier .they gave family and I all the time we needed to grieve and did a great job on both of them. I would definitely use them again.
Greg , Shawn and Doug handled our families loss of my father with such care, professionalism and respect. They took their time in helping us with all the planning and all the questions we had.They really go above and beyond.
This place was very helpful! Reassuring and put me at ease. I called them when my father passed and they reassured me they would pick him up and take care of it! They did. Their pricing was on point. They charged me exactly what they told me they would. There were no surprises and I had the ease of knowing that my dad was taken care of and was delt with respectfully and compassionately
Was quoted $9,000 for my fathers funeral over the phone and once I transported him there from Florida and they found out he had a $12k life insurance plan the fees were all of a sudden $12,200. On top of that the branch is Woodbridge is severely outdated, dusty and overall looks like it hasn’t been refurbished and decorated since 1960. I used them out of need but would not recommend whatsoever given the discrepancy with quoted charges.

do not use this funeral home. you can never get in touch with the director. he failed to mention that there would be another funeral going on at the same time. go somewhere else!!!
