Everything you need for success can be found here! Our purpose at Get In Shape for Women, is to create an enviornment that not only empowers women, but provides the tools for a complete body transformation.

In order to achieve your fitness goals our motto revolves around creating an honest and open atmosphere for communication. This is the lead to sucess!
Step into our daily routine, working closely with 1 trainer designated to YOU and 3 other members. We've created the most innovative weight-training program ideal for women.
In Part 1 of our program, we focus on increasing your muscle tone by just 5 pounds. With these awesome results you'll increase your resting metabolism by approximately 200 calories per day. That's 1,400 calories per week! We promise you, you'll burn approximately 200 calories during your weight-training workout. Weight training 3 times per week will burn an additional 600 calories. In total, you'll burn approximately 2,000 calories per week from weight training and your metabolic response to it.
Part 2 of our program, focuses on Cardiovascular training. Cardiovascular training plays a vital role in body transformation and overall health. Your certified personal trainer will help you achieve your goals through expert cardio training. As part of the program, you'll be introduced to interval training. Interval-training cardio helps to accelerate fat and calorie burning, lower blood pressure and heart rate, increase your good cholesterol, getting you and your heart in shape. Performing 3 interval-training cardio workouts per week will burn approximately 200 calories per workout, or 600 calories per week. You will burn calories for approximately 2 hours after your workout is complete!
Part 3 of our program, is our nutrition program. We understand that part of anyone's fitness goals may be the trickiest. We make easy health life style choices that help transform your body - and never diet again! Our complete program, your training team will show you how to eat properly – and enjoyably – as part of a healthy new lifestyle. Your nutrition plan is a key component of your successful body transformation. 6 balanced meals per day, one every 2-3 hours, 6 days per week, with 1 Free Day. Yes, you can eat "anything" you want on your free day.
You need to be held accountable by someone other than yourself.
During Part 4 of our complete program, your certified personal trainer will hold you accountable for your progress toward your health and fitness goals. Accountability is also foundational to your successful body transformation. We'll check your weight weekly and body fat monthly to make sure you're on track. To help you stay on track, we'll schedule your workouts in advance, so you can make them a priority in your weekly schedule.

I've been a member since 2012 and I absolutely love it here! I've been through many transitions with owners and thus trainers see older reviews but I've had the same trainer for over 2 years and she is awesome! My time at the gym is me time and I find that my trainer understands that and really cares. I did the recent 12 week challenge and lost almost 30 pounds and am still losing! There are so many ways to be accountable when not at the gym and we use these tools to keep track of nutrition and exercise. I was never one to stick with a gym but as you can see I have and I'm seeing the results and feeling awesome, which is my main goal! I recommend this gym to all my friends and co-workers!

So much more than a work out studio. The wellness community that has been created here is fantastic. The trainers are so knowledgable and helpful during workouts and the nutritional support is what sets this program apart from other "gyms" I've been to. I love that I am held accountable for reaching my wellness goals and have a team of others trainers and other clients there by my side supporting me. As a mom of three it's important that I take care of myself first so I can be my best emotionally and physically, so I can take care of my family. GISFW has provided me with a space and program to do just that.
I have been going to get in shape for many years and Aron and Jenna are great coaches! They both make sure that my trainings are on goals that I need even though I am working out with 3 other women! They care about how I am doing and make sure they take the time each session to see where I am and what are my needs.
Personal Training with Aaron and Jenna has changed my life for the better for the past 3 weeks. They have encouraged me to be the best I can be to get stronger, healthier and more aware of how I fuel my body. The owner, Chris, has been amazing to interact with and listens to all of your concerns or questions as a client. I highly recommend this studio for any woman, not just those looking to lose weight.
After almost 5 years, I'm still focused, challenged and improving my form under the watchful eyes of two great trainers. My appointments keep me coming consistently, and the small group of 4 women is supportive and fun. At 68, I feel healthy, strong and sleep like a baby!

5 years ago, I saw a survey that said women, on average, gain 1 pound for every year married. With our 25th anniversary less than a year away, I stepped on the scale and was surprised to see that I had indeed gained close to 25 pounds. I had tried many self-help diets and exercise plans that did not last, so I knew I needed something radically different. I saw an introductory offer for GISFW and thought it could not hurt to try. By my 25th anniversary, I was down 20 pounds and 4 dress sizes. I have never looked back, 5 years later, I still religiously schedule my workouts and am proud to say at our 30 year anniversary I will be able to wear a size smaller than when I got married and my wedding dress fits!! I have recently joined Get In Shape For Women in Andover and have been really pleased with the gym, trainers, and my results so far. The workouts are really energizing and I can easily fit it into my schedule!
