GFM the Synergy Center was founded in October 2002 by Valarie Cunningham, a licensed master social worker. It was her vision to strategically impact the mental health industry as a synergy center for the healing, transformation and stabilization of individuals and families through access to prevention and intervention services. GFMSC is a 501C3 faith-based organization and a leader in having staff that mirror the community it serves.
GFM the Synergy Center has a diverse staff which empowers the community we serve. We provide services for children, adults, families, and couples, while connecting them with resources that will continue to enhance their quality of life. At GFM the Synergy Center, we are dedicated to bringing therapeutic relief to people who are in emotional, mental and spiritual pain.
GFMSC has ongoing partnerships with Kalamazoo County Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (KCMHSAS) and the Department of Human Services (DHS), as well as many private insurance partners.
Our licensed therapists provide one on one assistance and guidance in resolving personal, social, or psychological problems and difficulties. The focus is to EMPOWER YOU:
