It’s a shame. This store has continually gone downhill. They are often under-staffed. Their self-checkout is a disaster. It often doesn’t work or is too complicated for customers. I have seen them storm out while others are getting help from the one employee assigned in the area. And, you know self-checkout has not lowered prices for customers. Their produce is often close to expiring so you have to always check the dates carefully. And, they are too often low or out of stock on sale items. This is the most neglected Giant in the area.
Good supermarket we found what we need
Rude cart guy. He was blocking the smaller carts because he wanted me to take a bigger one inside the door way. I told him I didn't want a large cart I want a smaller one. He rolls his eyes and makes a uhuhhh sound. Like he was annoyed I didn't want to take a large cart. They really need to train these people in customer service.
I'm a little older and I do not like self service cashier. I prefer personal service. About 5 to 6 registers open ... all self service. Nice place and very clean. I just prefer a person.
Quaint little store in Maple Glenn area of Upper Dublin Township. Back in the day, it was home to Kings Department Store and Genardi's supermarket and several smaller stores. Giant now occupies the grocery store, and it is great for your shopping needs in the area. It's small compared to some of the other Giants in the area, like Willow Grove, which originally was the location of Home Depot and the super Giant in North Wales off of 309. Every store caters to its residents in the area they serve, and this one that fits nicely in this part of Montgomery County.
Bought an amazing orchid for a friend. The colors were so different.
We parked here on September 1st, we were stuck after the tornado closed all the roads to our home, the staff here were extremely helpful, they were really heroes, they let us take water for free, they were taking us to the upstairs restrooms because the costumer bathrooms were flooded, they asked us if we need juice or food. They were extremely Kind and helpful! Thank you !
Worst store. Haven't been here in years and won't be back. It filthy, I would not buy fresh produce cause of the dirt. ALL SELF CHECK OUT. One thing I hate and I do mean hate is self check out. Long lines, took twice as long as it should have been. People can't figure it out and they have no choice. If I didn't need the few things I originally came for would have left my cart and walked out. Giant, self check out is for quick check out not for a weekly trip for a family of 5. That is so inconsiderate.
My first time at this store. Very nice, clean, smaller than some. Only one problem, young man who worked there walked into me, brushed personally against me, them expected me to apologize to him. I got loud, no one cared, I walked away.
The location is on the smaller side and has limited selection but also had some of the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever had at a grocery store. Highly recommend unless you have a specific obscure brand you need to find.
