GIANT Food Stores

in 2020, my gf and i moved into a nearby apartment building & needed a local supermarket.. since then, we have continued to shop at the willow grove giant 98% of the time. we get a lot of use and benefits from their app and rewards program. the staff there is pleasant especially this one woman that typically is working at self checkout, the store is always clean, and i like being able to use their personal shopping scanner to skip a slower checkout on the way back. the best part of the rewards program is the savings in gas ! around once a month we will go over to the giant gas station also really conveniently close & enter my phone number before paying.. last month we got $1.60 off per gallon!!!! oh.. they also have a great floral/house plant section

Don't buy milk from here. Get ready for a whiff of sour and spoiled milk when you open the fridge doors. Everything else is fairly fine.

Great salad bar and the hot bar with the wing bar is awesome. Try all the bars here.

For the most part, this is a typical Giant - if you've been to one you've been to most. Some consistent issues are that they rarely have registers staffed for the crowds that can show up, aisles/products move constantly, they do not have baskets for smaller shopping trips, and it's pricey compared to many of the other grocery options in the area. The fresh food/salad bar/hot bar are usually pretty good, they have a lot of beer and wine to choose from, and their bakery is pretty good as well.

I suggest you data up the question, "Which grocery store do you use and why?" and you will get a good idea of what people are looking for. No two stores are exactly alike. There are so many differences that you may find yourself going to many different places for that one item that individual stores represent. If anything, it can make life interesting and you can never get bored, and on the other hand you may need to settle for the one that is most convenient for your lifestyle if you don't have the time to run around from place to place. People can be a great help with their reviews online. As a single person myself, I feel that a person who has a family to shop for would be pretty much someone who has a good knowledge of what's out there as they most likely are looking for bargains as well as good products. When answering questions, I usually answer yes, if I think the store would most likely have that product, but that's not really exactly helpful so that's why I felt I should give this account. Saw a robot taking inventory which was cool. The store could be a little cleaner. The milk section needs much attention.

I ordered lunch meat at the deli counter and while the guy was weighing the lunch meat I see flies at least 5 all around and on the lunch meat. I left it there. I will not buy lunch meat there anymore and I'd advise other people not to as well. Also, most items there are ridiculously over priced in comparison to other stores. Be better Giant.

This is a clean, bright store! Much larger than the Giant I normally shop at. Found everything easily that I needed. I use the app so always get savings and points. Easy and quick check out too!

I will change this 5 stars if someone can tell me when the deli closes— specifically when they close up the olive bar. I can’t find deli hours listed anywhere online, which implies they are open until store close, but by 9 pm the olives are gone. When do I have to get there to get the deli olives?

Very helpful and friendly staff. This store is very clean and organized. Produce seemed especially fresh. Great prices.
