Giovanni Carrelli was born in little village east of Rome, Italy called Fossalto. In learning his craftsmanship, he started working with his father out of grade school for 3 years flowing his footsteps as a Master Taylor. At the age of 17 ½ years old, Giovanni went to Rome to attend the world famous Caraceni Fashion Tailoring located in Via Veneto Rome, Italy for 7+ years. His intention was to come to the United States but had to complete Santarelli & Castellucci Clothing Design School in Rome, Italy, which he completed on April 29, 1966. Then in October 1967, Giovanni was sponsored from a large company in Chicago, IL to come to the United States and design clothes for them.
