Glen Echo Fire Department is staffed by a combination of volunteer and paid firefighters and EMS providers. Collectively, we work to maximize the level of service to our community in Bethesda and Chevy Chase, Maryland.

Our mission is to provide the best possible fire, rescue, and emergency medical care to the communities we serve in the Bethesda and Chevy Chase areas of Maryland, and we strive to do so while being good stewards of our funding and while providing a welcoming, positive, and inclusive environment for our personnel.
