There is no doubt that IB program has many positive aspects just as some of the the other programs. The point is being able to combine the principles of education programs with effective teaching and learning methods and approaches. That's what I believe is the factor behind Walden's success.Teachers know how to address students' individual needs and most importantly, they work hard on improving students' metacognitive skills and learner awareness by providing an encouraging learning setting. Teachers are really good at scaffolding, inquiry based and experiential learning leading to better outcomes. Therefore, they know why they are learning and how they can apply this knowledge in real life settings. Most importantly, from the very beginning, we have felt that we are valued. Thank you once again to all the members of this awesome family.
Very disappointed with the assessment process at Oakville campus. I was informed that my child is excellent academically but pointed out some concerns on behaviour that were not representative of his personality. His side of story was never heard.
My son started school in 2015 and he started off at this wonderful school. He loves going to school and enjoys every moment there. There is a lot of focus on discipline and behavior apart from the regular curriculum and that is one thing that appeals me. The staff takes great interest in regular communication with parents which helps parents to go hand in hand with the methods followed in school with regards to many aspects. We are very grateful to the entire Walden Team for their efforts!
Great school with lot of focus on developing overall personality and confidence of a child. School staff is really good. They are very cooperative and try to help in every way. My son loves going to his school every day. I can definitely see improvement in him.
My daughter just completed grade 4 at Walden International School in Brampton . She loved the IB program after being at a Montessori school for 3 years . Her teacher, Ms Gaber is amazing and surpassed all our expectations. All the teachers at the school are friendly and caring and my daughter loved the environment. We would recommend this school if you are looking for a quality education for your child .
A very lovely school. High standards. The staff are so professional and the teachers strive to help each child have the best learning experience possible. The environment is very encouraging, nurturing and a great school for any student...
My kids love going to this school, they are really excited to see their teachers and classmates every morning. All the staff members are supportive and we can see the care and commitment they have for kids growth and education.
I attended this school from Grade 2 thru to grade 5 Mid 1980's. I was eventually expelled, as I was an energetic child that did not fit the elitist profile. Frankly I would suggest that any parent explore all options, before assuming that this Private institution would be best for the growth and development of their child.
My daughter is attending their Pre-K program. The teachers are amazing and caring. This is worth every penny! Send your child to this school if you are able to afford it. They deeply care about the children and their development as little people!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Small class sizes which allows a lot more 1 on 1 time.
