My 2 year old had a simple surgery, we arrived on time, greeted professionally. Spoke with the nurses, and all the doctors participating in his procedure. Extremely pleased by the entire visit!! Nice peaceful setting, very courteous staff. They explained everything that would transpire and answered all of my concerns. I’ve used this facility once before for my self and it’s still a great place to have a surgery! One happy momma!
I've had nothing, but bad experiences there. I've given this hospital more chances than it deserves! The nurses in ER get rude and sarcastic after a while. The nurses at night to make that perfectly clear. No human being should face rudeness, hatefulness, sarcasm at it's worse, including a ugly attitude when they're suffering from chronic pain! No one! All I asked was for them to take my IV out etc so I could walk the pain out, they wouldn't do it. The pain kept getting worse and worse over a small amount of time until it made me completely lose it, because the pain was so unbearable, it made me insane! I couldn't take it any longer. I can't tolerate that type of pain. It was too much! They wouldn't do anything about it! This once was a great hospital, that was between 1990 until 2004 or 2005. Bring it back!
Everyone was knowledgeable in the job that the did . Nurses explained what they were doing in a manner that I was able to understand. The doctor described the procedure to me in his office and again in the cath lab . Other than the food served I was very well pleased with the service I received .
I went to this ER at 8:17pm. I was put in a room in the back at 8:25pm. So I told I had to get swabs done for symptoms. For 40minutes I waited on a nurse or anyone. I had to go out demand someone come into my room and help me because the nurses was sitting and standing around talking shop. I said I guess my nurse is busy but can’t one of y’all help me please. I finally received help. What’s sad is 1 of the women talking was the NP just sad. I was admitted but was waiting on a room. I waited for a room in the ER till 5pm the next day which I’m not complaining about. The complaint is there was only 1 nurse to this ER hall so she barely came around they didn’t leave food for the hall poor thing had to get some food it ended up being old cold breakfast. MY STAR RATING STARTS HERE I finally got moved to the 5th floor. Where I had the best attentive nurses MeeMee and Fred also the CNAs Delores and Jessica I wish their ER had nurses that actually cared and checked on their patients like I was cared for by these 4. They made the rest of my stay so pleasant I let go of my sadness from the ER portion.
My wife just left yesterday she was a patient there and she had the best nurses and staff she remembered all of because my wife use to be a nurse and she understands the importance of being a nurse but , to be a patient now on the other side is different she able to see how every charge nurse, registered nurse, CnA, nurse aide, dietary aide, respiratory therapist, x-ray technicians, Phlebotomist, sonograms tech, cardiologist. Function the last three days while she was there.Under there care Her first night she had Ms. Me-Me with the lime green sketchers, real nurses wear the lime, green sketches!!! My wife said Yeap am good now!! She was very kind and check on her consistently in her other nurses that was on duty as well. Make sure her vital sign was good and checking on her heart monitor. Shout out to Priscilla the CNA I see you you do a beautiful job I pray to give you a promotion. Next shift we got Steve or is it Stephen if the locs he had a great personality very well spoken!! Always double checking on me making sure my vitals was right and ask if I needed anything. Than you got Ms. Erika She call me number 2?? lol she had us laughing that whole night we needed that my wife hospital stay was like a mini vacation to be honest she never felt alone she welcome!! I didn’t forget about Mr. Fred he deserves all the Flowers he deserves on top of the world he deserves every bit of happiness He made my wife experience, so beautiful that she’s totally forgot that she was even there for her heart condition. He made it so simple. He gave her a purpose a beautiful meaning to enjoy life he explains the procedure in such a way that a comfort her before she went to her procedure that she was so ready. She was so relax that she trusted his words and she told me to go to work and she was going to be OK. I never met a human being that can comfort someone that I love. She is not easy to be comfort and Mr. Fred was able to sit and have a discussion about her concerns and he insured her that she was in good hands. Many love to you Mr . Fred We pray If you and the entire staff in Glenwood read this Each of you played a role in my healing process and each of y’all deserve yall flowers 5th floor deserves more than just kudos not just deserve little raises little recognition, and please make sure hopefully the board and directors and admissions recognize the people are watching and do read these reviews and actually do have people come to the hospitals who actually see who are doing their jobs correctly. Each person are highly qualified to be placed in higher positions than where their at if you ask me. Mr. Fred need to be promoted to a department manager on that floor immediately he can Manage it . Erica could be a second department manager and Me-Me Glen wood y’all got too many great people few opportunities could be a night manager Thank you so much for a job well done. Thank you for taking care of me. From, Ms. 511
There very rude . My mom fell while there and the nurse house supervisor didn’t feel that it was necessary to notify me. When she had surgery they we’re having trouble with her pressure no one notified me and no one acts concern. Then I call administration she hung up in my face.
Experience was great nurse I had was very nice did a great job.but I asked everyone that I saw if insurance was covering everything they said LOOKS LIKES IT DOES . .then I got a statement from insurance __[_not in Network]
I had Spondylolisthesis Surgery on May 25th, Dr Jeffrey Counts, was my Orthopedic Surgeon. He,and every Nurse, CNA,Dr. Kitchens was amazing! My family was kept informed, attentive to my needs and their concerns and everyone we were in contact with gave me SUPERIOR service,I cannot thank them enough.Thank you all.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE HOSPITAL, would give less than zero stars if i would. The lack of procedure, competency, and knowledge of doctors and nurses is astounding. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES LIFE. Extensive malpractice here, this hospital should be shut down and the doctors licenses should be revoked.
Doctor William Yates should have his medical license revoked. He was extremely rude and dismissive after I was brought in by ambulance. I have no medical coverage yet waiting for approval so I’m paying for this out of pocket I would never have gone to the hospital or called an ambulance if it wasn’t an emergency. My first interaction with him he walked in and said “what’s your emergency? It doesn’t seem like you are having one” then said “can you really not walk or is it just hurting so you don’t want to there’s a big difference” he ordered a CT scan turns out I have a slipped disc. I asked for an MRI so they can have a better look, or bloodwork to rule anything else out while I was there and he said “no. This is not an emergency I referred you to an orthopedic surgeon you shouldn’t have come here” then discharged me immediately. No bedside manors or compassion at all for his patients. He should be ashamed of himself and I’m looking forward to running into him at Parish or the Lotus Club so I can give him a piece of mind in person once I’m recovered from surgery. Seriously contemplating contacting a lawyer. I need this issue addressed and that man needs to be re trained or fired. Waiting to be called back from patient advocate and CNO of the hospital both sent me to voicemail. I’ve never been so disrespected and belittled in my entire life and this needs to be addressed immediately. Two nurses told me they avoid and don’t speak to him for the same reasons and the ER supervisor said she’s not over him took my information and said she would pass it along.
