Gloversville Police Department

In the past I disarmed a man with a sword threatening to kill the police officers .Years later a police officer was in a fight on my front lawn and I helped the officer gain control and recieved an award from the City . Oh yah front page news . My next encounter I was kicked and dragged threw thier halls and you guessed it the cameras were not working that night . But I sued and was giving a settlement and was giving a apology from the officer. So years later like a week ago I took a kid that had his wallet stolen and his identity was stolen and used and was arrested for failure to show up for court . We were told to report to police dept where stolen . Well had to go to gloversville police dept . They were rude and to make this short wouldn't do anything because he wasn't sure of date and most shocking the lieutenant said your not even a resident here so not gonna sign paper . I made complaint to Mayor and all we were told was to talk to Chief so I left 2 messages and no response yet . This police dept was and still is corrupt ,rude ,and stood and lied to me when asking questions . So sad that they took a good citizen who would help them any time and now I try avoiding going in the city .Further more all was recorded for my protection and thiers.

Recently moved to gloversville. Park on the side of the road cause everyone else was doing it and my my driveway was full. Was the only one to get a parking ticket. No signs or post it's to alert anyone of this scammy extortion. No snow on roads either. Garbage police.

They can't keep the drug user's, robberies, and alcoholics under control, but God forbid your car tires touch the sidewalk. Way to go Gloversville Police department. Way to go. Outstanding work.

Great idea to work with the state police to keep our city safe! We appreciate all that the officers do daily. Thank you very much!
