This place was such a blast! Everyone there was very knowledgeable and helpful! It took us a little over an hour and half to complete the course. We went first thing at 9am. I’m assuming if it was more crowded then the time to complete the Adventure course would have take longer. I definitely recommend. One thing to remember, when they are explaining how the course goes: you are on your own. Yes, workers are around and you have a whistle if you need help. They will give you a code that unlocks each section. Opens the door and allows you to climb the tree for that treetop adventure. Text the code to yourself so you don’t forget, lol.
We had a great time! If you are scared of heights this isn’t for you. The Tarzan was the only section we struggled with. If you bring your own gloves it’s essential that you can grip with them. Winter gloves in the summer would not be a good idea. Sweaty hot hands
Fun fun fun!!!!!! I recommend this place as a nice great adventure. If you are afraid of heights please don’t go. Make sure you are hydrated and ready to have lots of fun
went here for my 21st birthday yesterday and it was so fun!! i’ve seen this place a few years ago and have been wanting to go ever since. me and my family did the shorter course but next time i go i will definitely try out the full course. you pay for gloves and you get to keep them ofc. the course is a little tricky at some spots because it’s super wobbly but still so much fun. i loved the zip lines so much. they were mainly over the water so it was really pretty. only issue was the wait time. when you first get there at your booked time it was about an hour till you actually got to start the course. you had to wait for the group ahead to go the 2:30 group didn’t get their harness until 3, get your harness on, walk to the course, listen to the demonstration, do a trial run, and then you go. not a problem in our situation but if you have other stuff to do that day i would recommend adding some wiggle room in your schedule. definitely will be coming back :D
What a fun experience to do here in Plano! If you're ready to face your fears or embrace them, this is a great place surrounded by beautiful trees in Oak Point Nature Preserve. The staff were helpful and made sure we were all set to explore! Recommend!

I took my granddaughter for her birthday. I am 64 years old and was pleased that I could finish the course I did avoid the more difficult challenges. My granddaughter loved it immensely, and she completed some the harder challenges. She's 13. Everyone I know who has attempted this set of obstacles had a blast. Nothing but smiles and excitement from everyone that day. If you enjoy physical activity and the outdoors, you will not be disappointed. Go Ape!!
Although there were times that I thought I might be dying, this place rocks. So good to be in the outdoors. So great to be up high in the trees. The staff was great. The gear was good and everything gelled so that we all had a good time. It was hot and humid that day but everything just clicked. Thanks to all the staff.
Disappointing Experience at Go Ape Plano: Adventure Fun, but Poor Customer Service and Misleading Information I recently visited Go Ape in Plano with high expectations for an adventurous day out. While the adventure itself was enjoyable, I was left disappointed by the poor customer service and misleading information provided by the establishment. Here's my breakdown of the experience: Adventure Fun, but Limited Opportunity: The actual adventure at Go Ape was undeniably fun. The course offered exciting challenges and provided an adrenaline rush. However, my disappointment stemmed from the limited opportunity to fully enjoy the experience. We were initially told that we had all day on the course, but it only took us 1.5 hours to complete the entire adventure. This stark contrast to the website's claim of a 3-hour experience left me feeling shortchanged. Confusing and Contradictory Information: Adding to the frustration was the inconsistent information provided by the staff. While the instructor assured us that we could take as long as we wanted on the course, we were abruptly tracked down midway and informed that we could only complete the course once. This conflicting message created confusion and a sense of dissatisfaction. Poor Customer Service: The customer service at Go Ape Plano was a major letdown. The staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive to customer needs. Clear communication was lacking, and it was evident that there was a significant gap between what was promised and what was actually delivered. When issues were raised, they were met with minimal concern and failed to address the dissatisfaction of guests. Value for Money: Considering the mismatched expectations, limited course access, and poor customer service, I find it difficult to justify the cost of the experience. While I initially believed the adventure would be worth the money, the reality fell short of my expectations. There is a clear need for improvement in terms of accurately marketing the experience and managing customer expectations. In conclusion, while the adventure itself was enjoyable, my overall experience at Go Ape Plano was marred by poor customer service, misleading information, and limited course access. The discrepancy between the promised duration and the actual time required, combined with the inconsistent communication, left me feeling dissatisfied. There is significant room for improvement, particularly in terms of customer service and transparent marketing, to ensure visitors have a truly worthwhile and fulfilling experience.
We had a blast! The staff was attentive and very helpful. If you are looking for a new, unique way to enjoy the outdoors this is the spot for you! It felt safe and provided more of a workout than I thought! The park is well taken care of. Can’t wait to come back!
