Had a great time. We went for the comedy show on Friday and me and my husband laughed . It felt good to be old enough old to understand the joke and young enough to not be the joke. Had a drink after at the bar with a great bartender. Would definitely go back again
Amazing inspirationist bringing culture and the arts to the community. Variety of visual and performing arts in the great heart of the center of Batavia. Parking nearby. Bar. Foods. Events to bring taste to those looking to taste.
This place is a hidden gem. I've been to two shows there and both times was amazed by the depth of local talent.
Beautiful old building. Attended a high school graduation party, Batavian's should utilize this beautiful building for whatever gatherings they might have. Check it out!!!
If you move here from another area, and you want to get involved in the art community, they treat you like an outsider. My husband and I have tried numerous times to connect with them, and they ignore our messages. My husband even showed up in person last Summer to inquire about the organization and how they could help him, and they blew him off, stating that they were not aware of any programs to assist a disabled artist. However, when we called the NYS arts council, we were informed that they should have guided us to a grant program through the state. NY funds the grants, but each town / city is responsible for appropriating those funds. So they lied to us and treated us poorly. Not a good organization at all...
This place is great. History ghost lore! Comedy Art! All Under One Roof! Really enjoyed the Bar, went for comedy night.
Not just paintings, but all sorts of artistic and creative outlets can be found here. They also have a beautiful building and a hidden gem of a bar.
Unique setting, perfect for a tea party. Food prepared just for us. Pleasant and helpful service. Would come again.
Elegant setting for a local arts council, offering a well-lit gallery, bar and small dining area where tea is sometimes served. Check it out and support local art.
Such a fantastic place..Valerie was so friendly and made us the most delicious apple cider spritzer. So unique!!
