The mission of the Roz Steiner Art Gallery at Genesee Community College is to foster community involvement in the arts while enhancing the learning experience for all Fine Arts majors, Genesee students, faculty and staff. The Gallery offers Genesee students and the community culturally enriching events and allows Fine Arts majors relevant career experience that reinforces professional skills in the field of the arts.
The College is committed to be an integral part of the community arts events and work cohesively with the regional arts organizations to enhance the Western New York art community.
The gallery presents exhibitions by a variety of regional artists, faculty and fine arts majors that enable fine arts students to acquire gallery/arts management skills.
