Great campground with insane 360 views, And right across from the corona arch trailhead. We arrived at ~715pm on a Friday night and easily found a spot. The outhouse was very clean and stocked with toilet paper. Only thing to note was that once it got dark, we saw several large skunks come through our campsite, likely attracted to the smell of food. We kept our distance and they didn’t cause any trouble but we were a bit nervous we’d get sprayed. But they came and left and we had a great time here.
Stopped in to do the hike and have a picnic. Very clean and spacious and loved that it was right on the river. We finished the hike just in time for a storm to roll in so never actually had the picnic. It was also a treat to be able to see one of the arches right from our table. If you are in the area it's a great place to stop for a bite and a hike.
Great facility. There are a couple great hikes across the street. The canyon has great views. Find somewhere to go in the afternoon as the campsite stays hot. Having a fully stocked ice chest is a must.
The campground was great and the location was awesome. The view was amazing. However, the out house smelled 30x’s worse than I’ve ever smelt them before. Usually they don’t bother me but the one right by our site was sooooooo bad. They definitely needed to empty it. I think it had a dead animal in it. Other than that, the pavilions, tables, grills, and sites were awesome.
Worst mosquitos ever! The river is mostly dried up this time of year so there’s just stagnant water. There are thorns all through the campsite. The view is amazing but man the mosquitos were worst than I have ever seen. I’m sure another time of year this campsite is beautiful, not in September.
Not too far from Moab and the entrance to Arches National Park. Campsite was level, clean, and good distance from other sites, but was right next to the road I didn't find the night traffic noise that bad. This space is also directly beside a group campsite which filled up Friday evening with a large group of loud children so take that for what you will. All things considered not a bad place to pitch a tent for a few days. Good views of the stars and I enjoyed hearing/seeing the bats zip around getting their dinner bring bug spray.
Large area. Plenty of room for tents. No trees, no shade and it's small gravel all over the whole campsite Restrooms: Clean didn't smell. Too bad. No flush toilets, just the pit
This place has a new campfire, the river water is shallow, its about knee to waist deep and fun to play in. The bugs come out at dusk but go away after dark and then comes the bats. The water make it a lot of fun even though it gets really hot. Great place to camp. Also no cell reception available there, and no water to drink bring your own
Beautiful place in MOAB. There is a trail right across the street, and the entire area is a miracle of nature.
We visited THREE YEARS AGO but I still dream about this awesome campsite. We hope to return and see how it's doing these days. Corona Arch was an awesome hike, and Arches NP was a short drive away and offered a full day of beautiful hikes.
