The last several times I've been in here it's been hit or miss. Sometimes the food is fresh and sometimes it seems like it's leftover from the night before. Some of the employees need attitude adjustments and some of them are always a pleasure and some need to either shave or wear a proper hair net. I can't stress enough how I FONT LIKE HAIR IN MY COTTAGE CHEESE!
My family stopped going here because the service got so bad. On several occasions we got completely ignored on refills and when they still brought new plates to the table we never got any. However, tonight was a whole different story. Our waitress Shawna was the best we have ever had. She made sure our drinks were filled, listened to us the first time about our 4 kids drinks and their refills, was quick about keeping the table cleaned, and she always had a smile on her face while doing so. She even offered to make our three oldest kids a special ice cream drink that they all absolutely loved. The baby didn't get missed either because she would make time to stop and talk to him as well and he loved the attention. But, even with as much attention she was paying attention to us she never let her other tables down either. Every table I saw in her area had smiles when she came up. This wonderful woman went above and beyond in her job and it was an absolutely wonderful experience.
We've been twice in the past month. The food was better stocked the second time around. Our waitress was also much better during our second visit. If you are able to stomach buffets, it's decent foe the price. We plan to return as prices are getting ridiculous!Food: 4/5
Took a friend who'd never dined at a GC. She was thouroughly impressed with the variety of quality foods. We caught the early shift. Everything was fresh and warm. Not overly crowded great time.Food: 5/5

My hostess Meagan was excellent, always checking if I needed anything she was absolutely wonderful and very polite. Food was also very good quality and worth the price for the buffet. Definitely will return.Food: 4/5
Have only been to the Lawton location twice. The steak medium and eggs over-easy never miss and I mean never. We got there towards the end of breakfast, just in case we wanted to try some dinner food. Thinking about that steak now lol. We will be back.Food: 4/5
This is a nostalgic place for me! Food was decent and the service was nice. The only complaint is the rise in cost, but no difference in quality of food or change in menu. This is the only buffet we have here in town, so have to take what you can get.. Food: 3/5
This Golden Corral in Lawton is super good and much better than the one that used to be in Wichita Falls. They have more food choices and things that are not normally on the Golden Corral buffet. It’s even worth it to make the drive occasionally, being that we don’t live close but we no longer have one here.Food: 5/5
It has been a while since I’ve enjoyed enough food at a Golden Corral. Their sweet potato casserole has been top notch on the visits I’ve done so far. For the most part, the food has a nice neutral flavor for most taste buds. Enough flavor for it not to be bland but not too much to be over whelming for the more sensitive taste buds. My family and I have left pretty pleased with the food, even with some hit or misses on certain dishes being fantastic - good enough to eat. Definitely happy to have a decent Golden Corral in town.
