Definitely the best Caribbean food spot in Poughkeepsie! You get what you pay for honesty she packs the plate to the brim with rice and isnt shy on the extra gravy.

I have been coming to this wonderful restaurant on Main Street for many years now-And I told the friendly and professional staff to "Watch Out" 'cause I got many years worth of praise and 'happy belly' times to sing about!  Delicious, freshly cooked and prepared food and fixin's -and the portions are on the money!  I am smart enough to know to get in before the afternoon rush, because their menu is that good and that much in demand!  Lastly, a great staff, always friendly, always professional! Miss Jackie always seems pleasant. The other ladies that work up front aren't always pleasant. Not sure if they still work There  because i stopped going for a while.Their food is good.There has been a couple times when I ordered rice and there were some hard pieces, and one time I ordered oxtail and some of it was tough. But nobody's perfect. I understand everybody has an off day. Like I said their food is good, just a couple misses.

Best food around!! No one else around ever has oxtails and you can always count on Golden Krust to have them. And they are the best oxtails I have ever tasted! The employees are the most kind and welcoming people you will ever meet. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. 10/10!!!

Food is amazing and I always stop to get my Beef Patties and some juicy Oxtail here plus their customer service great. If you want some real authentic Jamaican food stop by and support this local spot. Also, If you like the food and service they provide consider providing reviews as well and continue supporting our local Entrepreneurs.

Store is always clean and the service is excellent. The food had a real Jamaican flavor. Love the variety of flavors for the patties. I tried the veggie patty and it’s awesome. Check out the soups especially on Fridays  Vegetarian options: The vegetarian menu although small in choice is very flavorful and pleasing to the eyes

Stopped in on Tuesday for take out with my daughter. I never had jerk chicken so I was a little worried I wouldn’t like it. Well, it’s now something I’ll stop to get again. The restaurant was clean and the people were very friendly. I also had a meat pie and curry chicken. I highly recommend the golden crust

The Golden Crust is phenomenal. The food is always so fresh and the patty's are always delicious. Besides the food being superb, the owner is one of the nicest, most beautiful person ever. Always so friendly and smiling. Visiting this store will not disappoint.

Amazing food, friendly service. Never a let down. Can be a little pricy depending on what you get, but the portions and the taste are well worth the money!! I would definitely recommend

I have purchased food from this particular Golden Krust for over 6 years while living in the town of Poughkeepsie. The food is ALWAYS fresh, the staff very Polite/ Friendly and the Restaurant is also extremely clean. I have since moved to another state but still whenever I’m in town stop by for a plate. I never miss an opportunity.
