Wow! Golden Village Palms RV Resort is the absolute best! Grounds are immaculate, sites are spacious and the activities/amenities are over the top. But what makes this resort so great are the people. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very impressed with the outgoing and happy attitudes from everyone we’ve met throughout the resort—the gate shack, reception desk, resort events Ariana and Josh, and the resort manager Ed. And a special shout out to Josh, who I call the resort “cruise director”! He made us feel welcome from the start and even gave us a private lesson on how to play pickle ball. Highly recommend this resort!!
I have noticed that the pool area is so much cleaner and organized lately since it seems the resort has put a really nice man in charge who is always working so hard at it. Also, the gym has also improved due to another nice man who cleans it everyday. Both men who seem to be new employees have such a kind and caring disposition. Thanks to all the employees at the resort who have made our visit such a pleasure.
We were here for an RV Rally and had a blast! The resort has multiple pools in one location. Huge banquet room and service-friendly staff. Additionally, our rally had several meals served to large crowds and the food didn't disappoint. I would recommend coming here and they also have several pickleball courts if that's important to you. We utilized it on several occasions in the morning
A nicely laid out RV park. Each space at a little greenery with hedges to separate you from your neighbor. And if you're lucky a tree. The facilities were clean. A good selection of laundry facilities. Plenty of space to do your laundry. The pool was really nice and had some little cabana like areas where you could have shade and didn't want to be in the sun. It was just so hot while we were there that walking around the park during the day was not an option. My one complaint is that no one seems to be available when you have an issue. Like when we didn't realize that the credit card slot for the laundry facilities you had to slide it. You couldn't just tap it to make it work. Also, it was so hot in there. It was like they return the air on and off to conserve energy which I can kind of understand. But for those of us in there, doing our laundry was very annoying.
We love this resort and look forward to our third 4 month stay. We love everything about this property and think of transitioning to a Park Model once we are done traveling. We would add another star if the trash could be better managed. Daily site pick up should be offered at a top notch resort. Maint should manage bins, but they could at least get more or bigger bins. So tired of trying to finagle trash into full bins.
We love staying here! It’s relatively quiet, even when it’s busy! The amenities are top notch! My kids love the heated pools to chose from and the billiards room! There are events weekly that are so much fun! The GM Ed is hands on with his guests, especially on barbecue event days and the staff is super friendly and attentive to all the residents needs! We live in town and it’s a nice getaway from reality. A slice of heaven to escape too!
I was an employee there at Golden palms resort not too long ago. They're training needs to be looked at. Lorinda at the front desk is mean and rude to residents. I don't like that. I have 15 plus years in a customer service experience and that is not how you treat people with disrespect just because you don't want them at the front counter. You are a terrible person. You are a terrible customer service rep who doesn't need to be providing your rude services to such a nice community. I was told that employees could not live there and lo and behold there's a employee living on the property. How fair is that? It got so bad with the lack of training and attitudes in the office I was forced to leave my job because of this employee calling me dumb
It was my first time, staying here, and I was certainly impressed with how nice the reception area and pool area appeared. Everything is clean and kept up very well. Also, it was much quieter than the Royal Holiday, which is just a couple of blocks away. This is a true RV Resort! Nearby activities: It is well located, with a Target shopping center, just across the highway. Safety: I liked that it is a gated community, with a guard on duty, at all hours. So people can't just drive in, if they don't belong there. I felt safe.
This is a beautiful, well kept and peaceful RV Resort. It boasts 3 pools, 3 Spas, Fitness Room, Library, Indoor Shuffleboard court, Laundry room and more. All pads are full hook-up with 30/50 Amp connections. Best of all the Staff is very friendly, professional and willing to extend themselves to insure your pleasant experience. The only drawback from 5 stars is Hemet, CA is so remote, it's 2hrs or more to anywhere.
The staff is great! The park is clean! The pool, the conference room and the library were all nice. I gave 3 stars because of two complaints: the "brown outs" and phone/wifi reception. Luckily, our power never went down, but our friend's did, which forced them to move further away from us. With regard to the phone reception, which is how we stream our TV, at the park it was poor 1-2 bars, right next door at the Home Depot, or across the street at the shopping center we had 4-5 bars. While Golden Palms has excellent walkability and I felt a modicum of safety inside the premises, the city of Hemet would have to step up a bit on their public safety for me to consider walking to any of the many nearby stores and restaurants,
