Helping Hand Food Pantry At Good News serves over 5,000 people per year in Miami-Dade County through our various programs. Some of our programs include:
1. Helping Hand Food Pantry is open to the public. We distribute boxes of groceries and produce twice a week, Wednesday and Friday.
2. Our Back to School program take place every August, where we collect and distribute backpack and school supplies to the children of our community.
3. USDA food distribution residents on the first Friday of the month.
4. Homeless program that takes food to the homeless where they congregate seven days a week 365 days a year so that they do not have to go hungry.
We also work with other organizations to bring clothing and other household items to our clients, with limited resources. such as, infant care items, health care, employment, and educational opportunities.
Good News Community Food Pantry is dedicated help improve the lives of people living in our community by providing nutritious food to help in the fight against hunger.
