Janna Smith is amazing! She is so warm and happy. I think that’s so important for the kiddos to feel their vibe. My son loved her so much! I would have given 5 starts but the lady with curly hair at the front desk was a bit rude. Maybe next time will be different
Therapists were great, however, billing is an absolute nightmare. Was charged an extra $400 for “occupational therapy activities” during our evaluation. The visit notes on mychart literally say “child sat in an adult size chair for the duration of the evaluation.” I’m not paying $400 for my kid to sit in a chair. After calling every week or every other week for months, I was told they would contact me with any updates. Fast forward a couple months with no word, I reach out to multicare. My bill has been sent to collections with zero notification through phone, mail, email, or mychart. Nothing. Waiting on a call back, but I’m not holding my breath. Absolutely will not use multicare ever again. ***surprise surprise, nobody has called me back and all of the supervisors are conveniently away from their desks whenever I call them.***
We love the physical therapist named Ben! He is a genius about how the human body is put together and so fun and great with kids! We will continue to request him if we find ourselves needing physical therapy again. The front desk staff was nice, too.
I'm so happy with the complete care that has been given to my son. After waiting months to get in to another OT Therapy Kids At Play. One referral and my son was fitted for new orthotics that fit 100% better than the one from KAP. We were also set up with a speech referal, physical therapy and more. Mary Bridge offers it all. Wish I had come here first. Oh, let's talk referrals my son's ARNP sent the referral on a Wednesday had a phone call to set up the appointment for evaluation 2 days later. Still waiting on KAP to get me on their list for an evaluation. Had my son set up for a evaluation one week later. So if your child needs OT Therapy this is the place!! The staff is extremely kind and they care.
We love CTU the staff is amazing!!! We have been coming to CTU off and on for the last 15 years now so we have used several of their services during that time. From OT to PT, to Speech therapy, orthotics, and constraint camp and one thing that is always the same is how amazing they are and willing work around our schedule and try to make sure we don't have to make any extra trips when we don't have to. Thank you CTU for being so amazing!!!
Went here for years... I have seen it all. The staff here is borderline abusive. As a patient here as a kid I was not only taken advantage of but actively lied to by staff members. If you have an autistic child, send them anywhere else for their sake. If you must though, avoid ANY "group therapy" sessions. They say they have a program to teach your child 'real life skills' but they really don't. They're using your child to develop the program, and you're paying out of pocket and your child is wasting their time. I'm honestly shocked and appalled that most of the staff here have a medical license.
the staff at CTU is incredible. My son goes twice a week and is accomplishing things so much quicker than we ever expected! CTU is amazing and I would highly recommend this location to any family in need of ANY type of therapy!
Completely unprofessional - Do NOT send your child here. If you are a new patient looking for a therapist, GO SOME PLACE ELSE. When you call, the only way to get through is with a voicemail. They return the call 5-6 days later. Then they ask you a series of questions...what insurance?....who is your doctor?...if you don't give the right answers, they tell you they aren't taking new clients. If you ask, "why were you asking me all these questions if you're not taking new clients? If I said I had a multi-care doctor, would you then take me as a client?"...if you ask these questions, they just hang up on you. No joke. Completely unprofessional. Presumably, they are only looking for certain insurance plans and connections to certain multi-care doctors, so they can squeeze every last cent our of their limited capacity to take clients. Now ask yourself...does that sound like the kind of place you want your son or daughter to go to in order to see a therapist. Don't get involved with this place. I know, some administrator will soon post a comment saying "we're sorry your experience did not meet our standards, here is a contact number for someone who will take down your complaint." Don't bother with the comment, just take what I've written here and fix the problem. They won't...all they want is to leave a comment so they appear responsive, when in reality, they don't care.
My grandson has cerebral palsy. We attended therapy at CTU for many years. There is no place that could possibly be better for your kid. I have had ample opportunity to observe kids that went to therapy there and kids who were not given that opportunity. The kids that have gone there are far ahead of the ones who did not. My grandson has accomplished much more than anyone except CTU said he could. He builds on the things he learned there every day and every day he does better than the day before. I can't imagine denying your kid the opportunity to be the best that he or she can be. CTU helps.
