Good Shepherd Healthcare Center

1/14/2023 The staff / team was awesome. Very helpful, polite, courteous and accommodating to help me into the facility due to my walking disability and it had been snowing that day. I have visited my neighbor that moved there couple of months ago. Also I had mentioned my friend was having a very hard time breathing. I was told there's a infection going around the place. **** The reasons I didn't rate it for five stars is... 1. I have not seen any of the meals. 2. Rooms are very small / cramped for two people and their belongings. [The pictures on the website, do not accurately depict the rooms from what I've actually seen.] 3. Very dated decor. 4. The place has the urine odor that I have smelt in other nursing homes.

My mom is now a resident at Jaffrey Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. I am entirely comfortable and feel secure about the genuine compassion and care that she is receiving. Each person that we have met is warm, receptive, professional and sincere. I am most grateful that after having to move mom from our home to skilled nursing care and long term care that I am able to rest easier knowing that she is in good hands. I am always part of decision making. The staff always makes me feel part of the family. They are dedicated and kind.

The center is beautiful. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and kind. Everyone that works there truly cares about the residents and their families.

After being an employee at Good Shepherd Nursing Center for a year and a half, I knew that this was the place to help care for my Mother. The entire team of employees from Dietary Aids to Administrator helped my family walk this road of Dementia with myself and my family. This was not because I work here. The dedication of this staff is amazing. It is the heart felt care for not only the the resident but the extended families as well. I personally will remain at what is now the Jaffrey Rehab and Nursing Center because I am honored to be apart of this caring team.

My mother has been at the Jaffrey Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for 4 months now I go everyday sometimes three times a day all I can say these people are amazing absolutely amazing strongly recommend it for those who need

I have been an employee here now for a little over one year and I have been very pleased with my experience. I left my last position at another nursing facility hoping to find a facility that cared as much about the residents as I did. Here at Jaffrey Rehab I have found what I was looking for. The staff here are some the most caring and professional people I have worked with in my five year career in nursing facilities. I count myself lucky to be able to work at this facility where residents welfare and satisfaction is so highly valued.

Working at this center for the past four and a half years, I can honestly tell you that we have a compassionate team. Our residents are happy and are cared for with dignity and utmost respect. What drew me here was the home like environment and smiling faces both from residents and staff. Come visit the Jaffrey Rehab community and see for yourself how wonderful it is here.

Cramped living area, after they brought in a recliner, my dad’s night stand had to be put in the closet. Lots of noise from roommate and from the hall. After two years of diligence to keep COVID out of our house my father contacted COVID while there. Now my husband and I have it. My father came home severely dehydrated with diarrhea. Would not recommend this facility for short term rehab.

Worst place to work at short staffed when you come in they don’t give you report they justa hand you an assignment scheduler is useless no one helps

Jaffrey Rehab is like family. We love our residents and treat them like we would our own family! Staff works well together to meet the needs of everyone!
