My uncle was here for rehab. The staff were so good to him. He cried when he left and still calls the nurses to “chat with his friends”.
Therapists great but facility staff lacking. Dad was admitted there after a stroke and was paralyzed on his right side. First of all, the 14-day mandatory quarantine even with vaccination was time wasted and was a major setback in his recovery. He wasn’t given any assistance with meals and the trays were brought in and left and he had to remove lids, open small condiment packets and unwrap silverware with one hand!!!! Had to ask for fresh water which was a hit or miss. The bright side were the therapists who were wonderful! The administration of the facility was not helpful when contacted about lack of care and even suggested that my Dad was not being truthful. We brought him home probably too soon but it was the best choice. The discharge process was stressful since no advice or assistance was given as to what we would need at home. They also failed to send in his referral for home health which added to the frustration. No one but the facility benefited from his 21 day stay.
Beautiful facility and great physical therapy. Call lights are on for 15 to 20 minutes before being answered. The nursing staff are not informed regarding when a patient needs a bath. No bath schedule. My mother was here for 5 days without a bath . That was after my sister asked every day about it. Coffee is not served with their meals. You have to ask for that. Cereal and oatmeal are brought without milk. Tha staff is completely oblivious to the patient's needs. No one should be here unless they have family to be with their loved ones 24 hours a day.
Place is horrible as well as over priced. The 2nd floor nurses would leave my elderly mother with poop all over her bottom and only allow her to shower once a week. I don't feel the majority of nurses there care about the patients or tend to them as they should. It's just a job to them. There is one elderly woman who has sat in a chair in front of a TV that hasn't moved from the same spot in 2 weeks. Avoid this place. You would think it would be a great facility being in an upscale area of town, but it's not. Very displeased.
I gave it a star simply because they are in business. Horrible! My mother in-law is there. They through soiled clothing in the shower. Put her toilet chair in the shower instead of cleaning it. She has complained of a possible urinary infection several times and nurse has yet to come see her. They won't come help you do anything if you call them during "shift change". They seem to have no idea what a diabetic diet it. The physical therapy doesn't seem sufficient to the needs of the patient. Horrible! She has been is rehab and swing beds several times and this is the only one that I have felt the need to complain about.
They must have their employees post ratings because this is the worst rehab facility I have ever experienced in my life! They kept giving my grandmother incorrect medications after being asked multiple times to stop. They wouldn't come often when she called and she had multiple accidents on herself and when they did come to assist her they left her unattended sitting on a potty chair where her feet couldn't touch the ground. The medication that was asked to be stopped which caused her to be "doped up" and hallucinate made her fall the night before she was supposed to get out of this hellhole. She is now in a nursing home when she was totally independent before going into this place! So if you have a loved one who needs a rehab hospital STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!
This organization's medical staff and technicians need to be more attentive to their patients' needs. Patients are left unattended for hours and somehow the meds were increased. The physical and occupational therapists are dedicated to helping the patients get back to normal and seem to enjoy their positions. Will NOT recommend this place to anyone.
Very nice place but guests are treated horrible! The nurses are extremely rude. Personal items kept going missing and no one knew anything. Had PICTURES on a cork board and someone TOOK them. Why? No one knew. Patient could not walk or get out of bed without assistance so someone had to go out of their way to steal. We removed patient to a better facility. This place is a joke. Please do not take your loved one here
Terrible. My dad didn't get water for over 12 hours. Aids are not trained good. Only good thing is therapist.
I can't find my review I wrote several days ago, but the only good rating i would give here is for the physical they, the care people are horrible, like my dad sit in stuff he shouldn't and would not answer his calls he fell out one time, blood sugar went low had to go back to read it was horrible. The star is only for physical therapy
