Description

Goodland-Grant Township Public Library, also known as the Mitten Memorial Building, is a historic library building located in Goodland, Indiana. It was built in 1931, and is a one-story, rectangular, Colonial Revival style steel frame building on a raised basement. It has hollow tile walls, is sheathed in limestone, and has a slate gable roof.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004 and with the Indiana Register of Historic Sites and Structures in 2004.

The Staff are friendly the regulars are helpful and are happy to help and the library takes suggestions for books to add to the library if you have any suggestions. There are also plenty of things for kids and adults to do ranging from movie nights events during holidays and craft nights. There's books for all types of people as well. Whether you like neo-classical romances or Action-packed thrillers you will find something that suits your style.
