I came in one day to print from iPhone. Front desk didn’t know how to get iCloud on computers so she print it from front desk. I came in to print two more things. She didn’t know how to do it either so she said I’ll print them for you. Got one printed. Another girl stepped in to print the other one, told me she knows how to get iCloud on computers. Said next time. If I had been help on that before, I wouldn’t be at the front desk. Sorry. Oh we have instructions on the printer. First and only time I was ever told that. Do you have a copy you can give me? It’s on the printer. Whoa! If I was told, I would have done all that and not have to ask front desk. She looked like she didn’t believe me about the other girl. She didn’t know how to print it. I love the library, but that was so unnecessary to treat me like that. Since you know so much, then get UP out of that chair and help instead of going off on people, miss school marm with a ruler.
Very nice, clean, helpful, friendly library. Lots of activities. Highly recommend it.
Went in to do some research, using the microfiche. The red haired lady, with glasses, couldn't have been more helpful. She got me set up and running and I found exactly what I was looking for. Upon leaving, I stopped at a computer desk to check one last resource. Suddenly, a different staff member comes running and YELLING, from across the room, to inform me that I was at the reference computer and I guess this meant I wasn't allowed to use it? That's fine but, was it really necessary to act that way? I mean, she was so loud, the 10 to 12 other people were suddenly drawn to me, like I had robbed the place or something. If it wasn't for this negative experience, I would have rated it 5 stars. Just ended up being a little bit of overkill, just for sitting down at the wrong desk. Maybe put up a sign? And don't treat grown adults like their school children?
The girl at the counter was very helpful and polite.
This evening I participated in a water color painting class. Nancy always has a great class for everyone. It's wonderful the library will provide material and a large room for our free class.
Time restriction on computers even if nobody there waiting. Could not download my pictures off smart card onto 16mb onto 16 USB. Wouldn't give me extra time even though no one there but me. RIDICULOUS!!!! People that work there are all very nice & helpful Selection of books could be so much better. Example, I gave them all George R R Martin books along with many others from Amazon. When I went to that isle they only had 2 non of the ones I gave them. I was buying books reading them then giving them to the library, not anymore. Also there is so much wasted space that could be filled with books. New building such a shame
I've been attending the Yoga program on Thursdays for over a year and started chair yoga recently with my elderly mother. Our flexibility has improved a hundredfold! We are so impressed with Debbie Angel the instructor. She teaches movements that are endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation which are great for every age! I would miss this class terribly if it went away.
always kind and ready to help. I use the library to print of stuff .15-.25c a print
I have been going to Grant County Library since I was little and it was located in town next to the old courthouse. There has always been friendly, knowledgeable people working there and they have many activities. I believe that we are lucky to have had such quality people working there for such a long time.
We enjoy going to the library. Very friendly and helpful. They have many different activities for children, which is very nice. Plus they have a small play area and computers for children, as well as computers n quietness for adults
