They sent me a damaged Saree, and did not take responsibility, they did not apologize...

The store seems generally unclean and the staff their gossip a lot. Cooler doors are broken, theirs a port a potty in the back if you need a restroom and the Kitchen staff don't seem to understand their own menu. I was told I couldn't order a sandwich with only toppings on half of the sub .Like, seriously? They confused the word Clam Cake for ... Meatball and the checkout staff seems to operate as if we are all still in 3rd grade There's a Middle Eastern man who runs the kitchen and he is actually fantastic and proficient...my problem is more with the local folks that work their
I stopped in with a friend for the very first time last Tuesday evening to grab a quick snack. After looking around a bit, we approached the food counter with a warmer to one side. The counter appeared to be set up for self-serve paper containers for food, various condiments, etc. all laid out for the cutomer. None of the staff came over or said anything to us, so I took a container and turned toward the warmer to get some potato wedges when I noticed a handwritten sign on the front door. Before I could even finish reading it, a guy working behind the counter came rushing over and raised his voice angrily at us saying, "Hey, hey hey! NO! You do NOT just help yourself like that! There is a sign right there!" I hadn't touched anything yet and couldn't have anyway since I later noticed the door was taped shut but I quickly apologized and politely explained that I was trying to read the sign and had misunderstood the set up. Again, I had never been in this store before. After several seconds of silence he took my order, but despite my trying to be friendly, his angry attitude did not change. I understand that people have bad days or can get frustrated with customers. However, I don't think I have ever been spoken to like this practically yelled at and scolded like a child by staff anywhere else before. My friend was so shocked by this guy's response that she didn't even order at all! The experience really threw me off and made me never want to return, which is too bad since I am regularly in the area and was happy to try someplace I hadn't been before. The food was okay, but not worth the rudeness. The woman working the front counter was more friendly in comparison, but even she seemed tired/overworked and frustrated. I'm not sure what is going on in this store, but the the atmosphere is far from welcoming or positive. Would not recommend.
My co worker and I stopped in this morning for a breakfast sandwich. I swore off the food here a few years ago after getting sick from the food on 2 separate occasions. My coworker however, got a breakfast sandwich. An hour after eating it he became violently ill and had to go home. I would avoid the food here at all costs. Way better options 5 mins down the road.
Ordered a sandwich an it wasn't made right an then when you point it out to the cashier she was rude as hell... Never returning to this place again
I don’t order food here but I do go in often, I would say customer service is a 4 out of 10….2 cashiers are nice 1 most of the time but the third is just clearly miserable and rude.
If I could put a zero I would. The dirtiest place I've ever been that food is prepared. They don't use gloves or wash before touching your sandwich, people's money and the computer screen. Good luck to you all that eat from this place. I've had better and cleaner service from homeless people.
Y’all don’t need to be so damn rude to your paying customers
It would be nice to not have people yelling & screaming on the phone as well as knowledge of the items that are on the menu.. I've called a number of times to order off of a tri-fold menu that I got from the store and nobody had knew about some of the things I had ordered. Lol last but obviously not least it's kind of important to CUT the pizza before a customer comes to pick it up Happened twice, and it being fully cooked & not soggy or chewy.. All in all quality & customer experience I feel lacks. I'm not sure if it's because those that continue to go don't mind the low grade service or careless mistakes. :/
Rudest staff I have ever seen in a business. I have been yelled at, been told to go to another store, had my food burnt, and heard staff talking about customers right in front of other customers. My last experience was my last with this place. I have been a frequent customer multiple times a week for the past 4 years. The last pizza I got was BLACK on top. The last time I was in there the employees were talking about me from feet away. The time before last the cashier was talking about the customer before me. I don’t know the deal with the tall girl that wears her hair up. I can’t tell if she is on drugs or what. I talk to her and she looks glazed over and I can barely understand her. I have seen multiple people arrive absolutely drunk buying more booze. They sell them more booze and laugh as they drive away. Not to mention food prep. They stop making a sandwich, answer the phone to take a new order, go to the computer to enter it and back to the sandwich. No gloves and no hand washing. Neil is a nice guy but clearly has no management skills.
Since it changed hands from the older couple who owned it things have gone down hill. The kitchen used to be super clean now it is super nasty. The help looked clean and on the ball before , now they look as dirty as the kitchen floor and mess up your order 50% of the time. Look at the floor in the kitchen area it gross, not clean at all. Lived in Lyman for 20 years ,If I can I avoid stopping there, Jackson owned by the same people is also dirty. If you want to see how its done right go to Lake Side in Waterboro.
