Goose Creek Pottery features the unique hand thrown pottery of Claude Stephens. I take each piece all the way from the preparation of the clay, through throwing, trimming, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing.
I am a very small part of an ever shrinking family of craftsmen that actually make useful and beautiful objects by hand. My work offers you a chance to walk away from Wal-Mart plastic bowls and actually enjoy the look and feel of the bowl as you eat your red beans and rice or maybe some ice cream.
