Description

Goshen Scout Reservation contains three Boy Scout resident camps, two Webelos resident camps and Lenhok'sin High Adventure camp, all located around the 450 acre Lake Merriwether. Each summer, Goshen Scout Reservation comes alive for thousands of Webelos Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and adult leaders. In continuous operation since 1967, Goshen Scout Reservation is truly the premier camp in the area.

This was so fun! My troop and I went here for Summer camp in 2023. We're super excited to come back, Highly recommended! Was a rather long walk go the shower house, but it was really nice to be away from civilization!
My two scouts loved this camp. I have a freshman in high school and a seventh grader. They’ve lived around the world as military kids and the staff at Goshen and fellow campers made this a beautiful and fun experience for them. We are forever grateful that they have a provisional camper program, we flew in from South Korea. Thank you to everyone at Camp Marriot for making our experience at Goshen an amazing one. From this mother, to those of you working hard to plan this for our youth- thank you.

The Best Camp in Goshen. Highly Underrated and very Friendly staff. Beautiful and Preserved. Ideal for Troops who want to go camping and escape their struggles they may have at home. Good Friendly and Fun Staff. The Food is good and nutritious. In my Opinion They definitely Deserve More money to even more improve Good ol' beautiful Camp Marriott.
This camp was the worst one out of all of the camps I have visited. The showers were super dirty and their were lines at all of the good activities. They also only and sandwiches for lunch. They also made you make a meal with you troop without instructions.
Camp PMI is one of the highlights for our Webelos' experience. The staff runs a great program that really exemplifies scouting and makes it so much fun for our scouts and leaders. Goshen is a beautiful reservation that should not be missed. There is great hiking and the lake is excellent. The weather in the mountains is pleasantly cooler than down on the coast or Piedmont. Not terribly buggy either. I have never needed to apply repellent.
I have grown up with goshen. It will always be one of my favorite places. I think it has something for everyone each camp their has unique things that make them different. If you are visiting here as a troop and are worried about undercooked food go to a patrol cooking camp like bowman. If you want a dining hall go Marriott. Marriott and Bowman are camps at goshen. I really love this camp.

Beautiful camps and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The views are absolutely stunning. An all around great way to connect with your family and experience nature in a fun and safe environment.
