Description

Gourmand is a mobile food truck, cafe, and catering company offering culinary delights throughout the Berks County area. Most items are plays on street food items from around the United States. Other items are unique recipes based off of Berks County cuisine. We offer catering to your home or business as well as street side sales of our wonderful menu. It was a little after 9am and I wanted a burger so bad. I decided to Google a burger place and most of the places didn't open until 11am or later. I found the Gourmand Cafe online and decided to give them a try. I never heard of the place before but I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to cook me up a burger and fries for breakfast. I got to pick what I wanted on it. I chose mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and blue cheese. I asked for the burger to be cooked rare but it was well done but still really good. The burger patty was massive and tasted amazing. I would highly recommend this place to others if you're looking for good food or a different place to try out. I'll be back again for sure! They also offer catering with their own catering menu.
My husband and I tried Gourmand for the first time this morning and it was great! I got the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and he got the Trio Cheese Benedict. Both were so delicious! We look forward to coming again and trying out the lunch menu! Staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was great!Food: 5/5
This place is fabulous! The food is so good. The people are very friendly and helpful. Purchased tray for my daughter's baby shower, for the 1st time there was NO LEFTOVERS! I had to hide what I wanted to eat, lol. I will very purchasing often in the future!Food: 5/5
My family LOVES Gourmand, so much so that we get frustrated when we have cravings when they are not open dinner! Their burgers are some of the best in Berks. I personally love their French connection and fries. My 9 year old requests lunch from Gourmand whenever school is closed during the week. I recommend checking their hours on Facebook or calling ahead just to double check that they are open because sometimes they cater and need all hands on deck. Thanks for being a part of the community!
Quaint cafe with a vast menu. They have many unique flavor combinations. I had their chicken panini with balsamic glaze. It was very delicious! Great place to catch up with friends or get work done. Will definitely be back!
Food and staff are perfect!!! Updating 2020 First time ordering a birthday cake from them. Was certainly not disappointed! The staff did an amazing job and my son was blown away with his spooky cake. Thank you for taking my order on such short notice.
This was a great find. The coffee is really good. Probably the best coffee I’ve had in a local cafe. Although I didn’t have anything to eat, my friends did and it looked great. Any place that serves poutine is alright in my book…and any place that has cheesesteak poutine is even better! The only reason I didn’t give this 5stars is that the atmosphere is in need of some help. Overall it’s not bad, but with a little extra effort it could be great. That being said..I will be going here again.
So close to 5 stars... The good - Great food! - Good service/people - good choice of music 80's - really good coffee - great selection of teas, and they make their own flavors...some are incredibly good smelling The drawback for me was that it's more café than coffee shop - drip coffee instead of lattes, etc., but the coffee is ground prior to each brew & is very good Definitely worth becoming a regular.
I enjoyed the flavor, but having an egg shell in my buffalo chicken omelette was not cool. I love blue cheese crumbles and it was missing. I got a cheese sauce which was delicious. I will definitely try your establishments again. Hopefully I will get a better experience. Vegetarian options: Yes. Kid-friendliness: Beautiful atmosphere Parking: Lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
Great food! Very slow. 25 mins to order and receive 1 sandwich for take out at lunch. I’ll make sure to order ahead next timeFood: 5/5
