The Reading Corner Cafe' is a K-4 After-School Program which exposes children to rich literature & the joy of reading in a cozy and comfortable setting. Our goal is to exposure children to a variety of literature, to promote sustained "eye on page" reading and to demonstrate "what good readers do". The Reading Corner Cafe' promotes a quiet, peaceful and enjoyable space where children feel comfortable reading for the love of reading.
Twenty minutes per day of reading has been proven to boost reading achievement for children.
In a world saturated with so much technology, The Reading Corner Cafe' is getting back to the basics of the joy of reading. We are purposeful in setting the mood and atmosphere for reading and we invite you to come spend some time with us doing just that.
The Reading Corner Cafe' is also available for rent for book parties, book signings, or other positive events for children or adults.
