Grand prix Raceway is the oldest indoor karting business in America. We are open to the public for six days a week. A great place for birthday parties, bachelor parties and company team building events as well as any special occasion.
Grand Prix Raceway uses karts specifically designed for indoor kart racing. These are real racing karts, designed for competition. Identically-prepared racing chassis that are equipped with powerful 200cc Honda engines, centrifugal clutches, and high performance racing slicks.
Because the vehicles are identical, driving skill, reactions, and snap judgments mean the difference between victory and defeat. Computerized scoring, facilitated by individual transponders attached to the karts transmit a signal to the Club Speed scoring system (the same one used by professional racers) means you know EXACTLY how you scored!

History
Established in 1997.
Indoor karting was first introduced in England in the early 1990's. Grand Prix Raceway opened in 1997 in Fife, WA. It was a very new business concept that took off right away with big crowds for months. Indoor karting began to grow around the U.S. and the world. In 1997 there were 4 centers in the country and about 30 world-wide. Now there are more than 50 in the country and more than 300 world-wide.
