Grafton Notch campground is a gem. Hikers are fortunate to have this clean quiet place to rest after a day of hiking. Moe's personal touches with small potted plants as you wonder through the grounds brighten one's day. And bathrooms are well maintained. Easily my favorite new campground in Maine! What a slice of heaven, quiet sites, right by a beautiful little river, clean facilities, and open night skies! Mo and Rusty are wonderful hosts! She answered all of my questions and was so knowledgeable about the area and ways to best explore it! Campgrounds like these are a rare find these days. Would highly recommend to anyone! Also bonus they sell farm fresh eggs perfect for a nice breakfast My pets and I loved our stay!

Beautiful campground run by a very polite and pleasant person. Very nice bathrooms with heated showers. I would suggest asking about which plots have river access because the river is gorgeous and worth getting a spot next to. Short trip up the road to Grafton Notch State Park.

If I could give this place 10 stars I easily would. It’s the perfect cozy little campground with hot showers that are actually not gross and regular toilets. Mo and Rusty are some of the best company to have around, Mo gave out great local recommended hikes - Rusty camp dog gave kisses. Would love to visit this place as a go to destination. The 13.5 hr drive from Michigan was well worth it!!

Amazing campground. Expect to be greeted by a magnificent Golden Retriever upon arrival. Great campsites with a well placed common area for showers and washing dishes. Hot water is 24/7. Mo, the owner of the campground is a wonderful lady. We had terrible rain during our stay and she helped us relocate/ and had all the necessary equipment/ snacks/ guides at her office. Firewood and starters are available on demand. It was a great home base for my girlfriend and I while we were exploring the area. 5 stars. Restrooms: 24/7 hot water, accessible, well maintained.

Wonderful and quiet. Just like camping should be. Mo and Rusty are perfect hosts - Very friendly and happy to share information about local hikes and attractions. The campground is small 15 sites and very clean. No generators allowed which is a huge plus in my book. Why go spend time in nature, only to listen to an engine running all the time? There is one site with shore power. Many of the sites have access to the creek which runs along the property and the campground is close to lots of gorgeous hiking trails. The bathrooms are amazing! The showers are large and the water is hot.

What a hidden gem. We love everything about this campground, especially Mo & Rusty. There are a lot of special touches like potted annuals placed around the campsite, motion lights for nightime visits to outhouses which were always super clean and stocked with sanitizer and toilet paper, a sensibly, well-stocked store with reasonably priced usefull items, an incredible bath house with mirrors, pleasant odor, paper towels, clean clean clean, a spacious handicap accesible shower that has incredible water pressure and lots of hooks to hang your stuff on, lighting on paths, located alongside the beautiful Bear River, lots of wonderful hiking in the area which Mo, the host knows all about, fresh fruit, eggs, novelty ice cream, good wood cheap, ice of course, small campground, about 15 sites, all of which are drive up, meticulously maintained sights, etc. etc. I could go on and on. We will be back. Super dog-friendly too.

I love this campground! I've been there with my girlfriend at least once every summer for each of the past four or five years. Quiet. Clean. Excellent water pressure and excellent shower. Plus, no generators! The water from the taps which are placed strategically around the campground tastes really good. And there is Wi-Fi emanating from the office where you can also buy maps, batteries, cold drinks, and Grafton Notch Campground souvenirs.

Best, cleanest campground I’ve ever stayed. Mo, the owner, takes pride in keeping her campground as clean as humanly possible. She works hard, so make sure you respect her place! Campsite number 5 has great hammock trees. Campsite number 6 is great for being close to the bathroom. Plenty of room for 2 vehicles.

Four of us shared a campsite here with two cars and two tents We enjoyed our stay and the nearby hikes at Grafton Notch State Park. “Mo” is the perfect host; very welcoming and keeps a very tidy campground e.g., with flowers everywhere!. A great value! We highly recommend it.
