What a park. The outside of the park is great to walk laps or to play with friends. The inside is a nicely maintained cemetery and has quite the obelisk in the center. One fun fact about this park is that the whole park used to be the cemetery but then they moved all the grave stones to the middle and made the outside a park. This cemetery also has the BEST cherry tree in all of Seattle. It is so dense with flowers in the spring and is definitely worth a visit. If you know the cherry trees at UW just imagine one of those with double the blossoms and a lot more compact. Definitely a sight to see!
Lovely park, nicely maintained, and so nice to have the cemetery there also. Greatly improved since the 80' when it felt a bit abonended
This place is amazing. To visit the burial site of the 332nd would truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Nothing would please me more to see a real Venator Class Star Destroyer, but I know I must first prove myself as a Star Wars fan.
so this is where the venator crashed and Rex and Ahsoka buried the 332's
A great place to honor the great clones that fought and destroyed the clanker army.
Tasted amazing
Ive spent many a weekends here. Still think about this place after 5 years
A great place to visit the men who fought the war between the states
Haunted, yet good memorial
Star Wars jokes and practical jokes aside, the park is very beautiful, and pays tribute precisely to those soldiers who gave their lives for the United States. The history of the battalion is explained inside the park; and I must emphasize that it is quite well cared for and maintained.
