I was vacationing in Traverse City after a wedding. My husband went into cardiac arrest and I called these guys. They were wonderful and there in less than 6 minutes. They were kind, friendly, and thorough. So happy for their help - they were part of the reason that my husband is still alive.
Can't even call the police when you need them today don't ever do their job and they just write Petty tickets constantly to anybody. Traverse City it doesn't feel safe anymore. Where are the police when you need them?
I have the highest respect for the Department and they are doing a great service for us. I live in the Stone Ridge development and question why the speed limits on Airport Rd. from #131 to Silver Lake Rd. and Silver Lake Rd. are 55 mph? The traffic is sometimes quite heavy and to pull out on these two roads is getting dangerous and seems to me should be 45 mph zones. There is now a lot of traffic in and out of the new YMCA and I am concerned there is going to be some bad accidents unless the speed limits are reduced.
I work with the homeless community. I would like to personally thank the two deputies that came to help a guest out on this past Sunday. They were not only professional, they were also empathetic and kind. They went out of their way to make the guest feel safe and that they were not just a waste of their time. Thank you for all you do!!
Lol, really? A 260k armored vehicle for Traverse City? Wow, some "men" you are. Seriously though, going to pray every single night that Bensley has something extraordinary tragic befall him.
I am from Grand Rapids and this past weekend was my 22nd birthday so 2 other couples went up to TC with my girl friend and I for a little weekend get away. We took 131 to 113 up to TC and the same rout on the way back. Right out side of Kingsley there was a constructions road block with no detour signs but open enough to go around. Being the only way back I knew of I went around it. I justified this because I saw other cars coming from that direction out to the road block. I got about 100 yards past it and realized I couldn't go any further so I turned around and headed back to the road block, I saw a squad car pull out flip his lights on so I instantly pulled over and turned my hazards on. To make the story short I received a ticket for Avoiding traffic control device. when I asked about the detour and how to get back home the officer told me that is for everyone to figure out on their own. I feel like it should of been a warring or at least had detour signs up. So i'm kind of frustrated and I know nothing will come of this, just wanted to speak my mind.
I’ll make this a short comment. However if you would like the full version please wait just a few months until my book comes out. The book will clearly and accurately provide evidence that the grand traverse county legal system is completely and utterly corrupted. The Sherriff deputies and detectives of grand traverse county don’t investigate before arresting people. They arrested me twice for crimes I did not commit, assaulted me for no reasonall on camera. They got TNT to break into my homefound nothing illegal, but left my home unsecured so I was robbed while in jail. I became homeless twice because of this. The accuser admitted in notarized letter to the court and prosecutor that she fabricated the whole story, and she was still never arrested and charged, even though she’s broken about 12 other major laws. The prosecutor is corrupt. She charged me for crimes I didn’t commit with full knowledge that the alleged victim has lied to law enforcement before. The sherriffs department discriminates against men in domestic violence claims. Even if your a man and witnesses see the event where a woman assaulted you, the woman will never be arrested and charged. Men are arrested at the whisper of an accusation against a woman with no witnesses at all and no evidence. This whole town is one big corrupt problem. It goes on and on. Beware of all of them. They are all corrupt.
Scum working a sweat? So many complaints, at this point maybe go after federal for not intervening, seriously, called 911 no incident report, in my life the tc police department is a joke.
Wasted $250k on a wanna-be military vehicle that is completely unnecessary for the area. Wonder why people want to defund you
