Up until this past year, I made payments in person for 28 years. For me, getting that receipt made it of value. As the service they provide of value as well. They aren't there to force your ex partner to do anything, or give legal advice. Stop blaming everyone else for your own problems? Maybe happiness can find you then.
They don't care about the children. They care about lining there pockets with money. Time an time again they show no doubt that the safety of children do not matter. You can show proof of negligence from the mother an still do nothing about it. Friend of the court just needs to change their name to friend of the mothers.
Based on my personal experience they do what they can. If I call or email my case worker always calls me within a timely manner. The system and website could be more user friendly; but I tend to figure it out after playing around with it. I'm unhappy with the speed of moving my case along; but I think that COVID has played a large part in that this last year.
Treating me like a criminal for wanting to spend time with my son . Do not expect any fairness or honesty you will not get it in this area. Move somewhere else and file were people are fair and honest.
They do their best. I hope they fix a few things systematically. I have a permanent issue I have to keep calling on, but the staff is always prompt in fixing it.
I have called several times and talked with my caseworker never said anything about updating information... my kids dad called they told him I need to update information... I tried calling back several times no answer...
Not concerned about the welfare of children, only in creating conflict to make more money.
