Been here recently for a lunch. Nice place. Great for small parties too. The food was delicious. This place also hosts weddings. Beddington park is just next door so and good idea to walk after a lovely heavy meal.Food: 5/5
Spicy Indian food & bar in a restaurant and wedding venue. Friendly staff, good service and delicious food. Nice that they had mocktails. Indian food is halal but not the English menu Went as a group so didn't pick this place. Generally don't like bar places- felt a bit pub like Vegetarian options: Have veggie options Parking: Have free parking at the front and the back of the restaurant. However front is limited places Dietary restrictions: Have veggie options Not sure about gluten free options but plenty of rice& potatoes on the menu Halal meat only the Indian food
Very well orchestrated service. Friendly waiters and waitresses. Food was lovely. Would have been better if the staff waited for a top-up of food whilst they were catering rather than trying to reduce the portion sizes until the next batch of food was sent out. Also, they need to make it clear if customers need to pay for parking because this was unclear and a number of guests for an event I was attending got a parking charge, which was unfortunate.
I ordered 2 Paneer Tikka Masala and received 1 paneer tikka masala and some dish of chicken. It is such a rediculous service from such a high standard restaurant. I am trying to call them but no one is bothering to respond to my call. My kids are allergetic to it and they felt sick. My family is pure vegetarian,being a pure Vegetarian I just puked. We do understand mistakes happens but such mistakes are unacceptable. I am really disappointed with The Grange Restaurant. It was my first and last order with The Grange Restaurant. Those who are vegetarian out here please order from the grange restaurant at your risk.
This is a local place for us. I know they host weddings, receptions, parties etc. When the weather is dry the grounds are lovely, river Wandle runs through the grounds as well. The food is chinese / Indian and burgers/ chips etc. Good portions, good service and good bar.
Went for an Office Dinner. The starters were on the spicy side though flavourful. The restaurant itself is nice,tucked away near Beddington Park,but it being Friday night was very full. I ordered the prawn biryani for the main and it just didnt hit the spot. The best part of the meal was the Exotic Mocktail. If I'd go back, I'd do it only for this.
Absolutely shocking service. DO NOT have your wedding or engagement party here. I had my engagement party here last year and they butchered my cake without permission of serving it in pieces, extremely rude staff handling this situation simply said they were told to bring it out like this, which was not the case. But also, who puts a cake topper onto of pieces of mashed up cake!?? I’d advise anyone who has a party here to not deal with Leigh, my night was ruined because of miscommunication between her and her staff and blamed on my fiancé. The restaurant was a local favourite of ours which is why we chose to have the party there, such a shame this experience has entirely ruined that.
Very nice Indian food restaurant in the area. We were big group of 12 people and it was a pleasant experience for everyone. The starter was probably the best in the taste and the main course was i would rate it at average. The customer service was fantastic and they attended us with great details. There was a party upstairs on that day which caused little discomfort by noise and the crowd stacking around entrance and smoking.
We had our wedding here in September. Leigh is a gem, always helpful and offering suggestions. Our wedding day was perfect can not complain about anything, I'd love to do it all over again. Thanm you Leigh and team.
They hosted an amazing party for my dad. Starters: chilli fish, tandoori chicken and samosa chat were great. Mains: lamb Rogan josh, chicken methi and okra were great. Veg biryani and naan were great. Waitresses were friendly
