Memorial artwork made from loved ones clothing.
THE STORY OF GRANT ART-
I had always enjoyed oil painting, however, I lost that desire and joy to many things when my son, (Grant) passed away.
I have found it very difficult to part with any of Grant's items. I couldn't bring myself to let go of this clothes.
On one particularly "bad" day, I found myself praying for some comfort and peace. As I prayed, an idea came to me. I would make a picture of a place Grant loved out of his clothes! It did indeed gave me comfort and peace.
Soon others wanted a picture done from their loved ones clothes. I was blessed and honored to share the comfort I had found.
I decided to call the pictures "Grant Art", in honor of my son. Not only do I find this as a healing part of my grief journey, but I am so grateful to be able to give others a treasured gift.
Although, I my passion is the pictures for people who have lost a loved one,, I would be glad to make ones for other special occasions such as graduation, birthdays, retirement, etc
