Warm personable front desk at check in. Room very reasonable price. We were on 3rd floor quiet and no pets. Whole facility was very clean. I gave room an inspection and other than tub walls water spots it passed. Buffet breakfast had a wonderful assortment of fresh fruit, assorted pastries, scrambled eggs and sausage, yogurts cereals and waffles. The coffee is excellent. The hot tub, steam room and sauna were clean and perfect for relaxing after long drive. We stop in Missoula a couple times a year and will definitely stay here again!
Excellent breakfast, including self-serve options of gluten-free Udi's bagel and genuinely fresh fruit watermelon, halved grapefruits, whole bananas, and more with a server on-site to whisk away empty plates, wipe tables, and mop up spills. Room was recently updated. Beautiful mirrors with a large full length one near the bathroom door. The bathroom itself, as other reviews mentioned, is very tiny--knees knock at the door while on the toilet. However, the handicap rail in the shower is sturdy and blends right in nicely. Large shower head that has good water pressure like a modern building. Tesla charging station near the front of the parking lot. Several were parked and charging. Hotel pool is large enough to put in some laps, and the steep up-hillside view through the window is private and breathtaking. Tiny hot tub, but it was a good, warm temperature. The breakfast is most worth noting! Definitely good to wake up to. Also, check-in staff late in the night was kind enough to help get a piece of fruit before I went up to bed. So nice! Friendly!
We showed up late and still got a room with a vaulted ceiling. Beds were very comfortable! Room was clean and cool. Hotel was very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful! For breakfast, I assumed it would be the usual and I couldn't eat it bc I have a dairy sensitivity. My wife brought me breakfast potatoes and sausage! I was amazed at the quality of the food. I went back for 2nds and got way more then I normally eat for breakfast! Delicious fruit and orange juice that wasn't watered down. Awesome experience and I would definitely recommend this place!
Off season this place is remarkably affordable! Summer time there is no reasonable hotel in Missoula, but this hotel is worth every bit! Best mattress I have ever slept on! Employees are delightful and breakfast better than many restaurants!Rooms: 5/5
Clean for the most part, but we had a message about receiving two water bottles complimentary, which were nowhere to be found. It also smelled like cigarette smoke in the hallway. Breakfast was solid and love that they are pet friendly!
Our stay here was amazing! Loved the steam room. After hours in the spa was great! The service was amazing! Friendly, polite, and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Will stay again!Rooms: 5/5
Clean room, continental breakfast and the kindest Staff. Our room didn’t get cold at all. It stayed at a 75-73 C during the day. But over all From the front desk to the house keeping and maintenance. Everyone was so kind and welcoming.we would stay here again.
Seriously the most friendly staff at this location! From Tom which checked us and and everyone else in between. The room was comfy and we enjoyed our stay. The employees here set this place apart and they should be super proud. Thank you!!Rooms: 5/5
Great staff, good breakfast and quiet, clean rooms. A nice and safe place to stay. They have Tesla superchargers on the property but no level 2 chargers. That was the only downside for me.Rooms: 5/5
We checked into the Best Western Plus Grant Creek Inn on the 10th night of our epic 21-day road expedition across the Dakotas to Montana and back. We got to our old digs in Missoula after spending several hours in the NPS Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls, and after weathering a late summer snowstorm while crossing the 5,610-foot elevation Rogers Pass on Hwy 200. In pre-pandemic times, we were very loyal to Marriott. But things have changed dramatically, with Marriott now evidently charging whatever the market will bear whenever they can get away with it. The Residence Inn rooms we had often stayed in for about $125 per night in 2017, were now going for over $450 - which is naked price gouging any way you slice or dice it. So we booked into the Grant Creek Inn for three nights out of spite. The Grant Creek Inn is more worn and a bit shabbier than the Marriott properties in Missoula. But it was adequate. The common areas were tidy enough. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The shower water pressure was adequate, but not great. The breakfast provided every morning was exceptional. The self-serve area was a bit crowded at times. But the selection of fresh fruit and melons, eggs and meat, sausage gravy and biscuits, yoghurt, and pastries was amazing. The coffee wasn't even as weak as some other places we stayed! All things considered, we will definitely consider staying here again the next time we're in Missoula. The heck with Marriott.
