It was fantastic! The whole day was just beautiful, the staff was awesome. It was the best anniversary weekend ever. Whether you are old or young, it's worth every moment. The Fort Worth stockyard was old world meets modern times.... It's an adventure in it self! Thx me laterVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$31+
The hubs and I had a great time enjoying the Cotton Belt Route Excursion. I completely forgot this was Fathers Day weekend so I was only able to get Economy seats. Despite the Texas heat the Economy class car was nice. There's a great breeze flowing and you get to really enjoy the trip. The wooden bench seats are close. Like extremely close. If we decide to ride again, we'd buy 4 seats to have the space to ourselves. I wanna say the website advised it, but I figured we'd have enough room. And the seats get a tad tough on the bum towards the end of the trip. It's wood. Refreshments are sold on the train. There's freshly popped popcorn, bottles of water, small bag of chips, candy, and sodas. I would love to take the grands on this trip! It's great for kids and the entertainment helps. I highly recommend at least one train ride to the Fort Worth Stockyards via the antique train. Price for entry: $18.00 Ticket type: Economy class
Such a fun experience! Nice ride in an air conditioned car. The train heist was cute. Small refreshments were available and it was a perfect amount of time to enjoy and head back to the station.
What an awesome way to spend a day. A vintage historic train ride from Grapevine to Fort Worth. We chose the VIP tickets just for the experience. The live show was entertaining and met some friends. Stopping in Fort Worth and Shandong out for a couple hours was great. There are shops and entertainment as well.
Amazing, ambassador seating worth it! Cotton belt was so worth it! Perfect for a full day of fun with family, loved ones or even a date!! Something for everyone!!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
Great experience! Staff was super helpful. We were apart of DeDe’s wine train and my wife played violin on the train. Hopefully we can do more in the future.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
We were stuck on the tracks from 3 to 3:40. We then took a very short train ride only passing the flea market then reversed and headed back. Again stopping and waiting another ten minutes. Off the train by 420 but literally and hour of it was no movement. Really disappointed, neither i nor my kid had ever been on a train before and it sucks that this was what the experience was. We got the trinity river one. If your planning on riding the train maybe buy another package or just skip altogether.
This was our first time to ride the train and we chose to ride It on mothers day . It was a great experience. They passed out roses to the mothers and we had such a great time at the stockyards before heading back to grapevineVisited onPublic holidayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$21–30
We love coming to the railroad for all the fun set ups they have. We’ve done the Thomas the train and now the polar express. It’s always very well done. Professional and helpful staff, plenty of entertainment, and you can spend enough time there to get your money’s worth. I’d love a bit more food options, but perhaps they don’t want people sticking around that long lol. We expected it to be cold but it ended up being an 80degree day in December…welcome to Texas. But we still got the whole experience and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was fun writing a train however the scenery leaves a lot to be desired because of all the growth of buildings and housing but scenery is one of my big things since I like to do photographyVisited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$11–15
