Gray's IGA Food Stores

Clean, friendly staff, convenient location. So much better than Walmart! Limited selection, very few people, so pretty quick. Fresh produce was nice, but pretty much just focused on the staples - meat, bread, produce, dairy, grains/cereals, bakery, frozen food, canned goods, common medicines, baby products, other basics, Great place to get what you want and go, as long as you're not needing something uncommon or looking for a huge number of options. On the downside, there's no beer, wine or spirits sold there. However, I like that it's locally owned and not some giant corporate chain.

The store is well organized. It doesn't have as much as the larger grocery stores but I am usually able to find everything I need. The chicken and sides in the deli is very good. The employees are very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to grocery shop.

Always nice people, prices are commensurate with a store of this size. Quality can be counted on and if something is not right no one is perfect they will make it right. Personal service from meat and deli department!!

I ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner with potatoes and green beans. The girl was fixing it when her superior took over the order. When I got home there was one chicken breast for three people.

Great deli! Takes a little while when busy, but good comfort food.

Grays makes the best cakes. They made my daughter’s Graduation cake and it was above and beyond the best cake we ever had!!!

Beat rice pudding. It's the old fashioned way of shopping, no self checkout and people actually help you. If I could afford it I would only shop here, you need to pay for the personal touch. Actually I think it's 5 stars.

Great neighborhood grocery store! One of Rockfords hidden gems with a hot and cold food deli. The bakery makes to order celebration cakes that are beautiful and delicious. They also sell the best sourdough bread, homemade pico and guacamole. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Really good produce. Nice neighborhood store, clean and well organized. Very friendly owner and they even carry Tuff Dog treats which our dogs absolutely LOVE

They often have very reasonable deals, an excellent discount produce section I just got three large pieces of ginger for less than a dollar!. The employees are also very sweet, helpful but not in the overbearing showmanship way. I enjoy when I'm able to make time to go here instead of a large chain store it's a bit out of my way.
