Fantastic little splash pad in the middle of a great playground/park. As a Grayslake community member with a 1 year old I can't tell you how much I appreciate this being here! They regularly maintain the water and make sure it's well sanitized and circulated.
Great playground and splash pad. This playground has a huge amount of swings and two separate sets, one that is better for older kids and one that is more suitable for younger kids. The spash pad is perfect for hot summer days when you don't want to turn your yard into a mud pit or wasting your own water. My only complaint is that there is no tree coverage so no shade. With the splash pad that makes sense but I wish there was some shade for the playground. Oh and the bench set up isn't ideal. Lots of central benches and just two off by themselves.
Great, great great community park for the whole family. All sports. Has something for anyone from the family. And the splash pad... Oh, it’s a gem!! Clean, fenced added peace of mind for safety, has a restroom nearby, even has an emergency aid box. I love laying my towel on the grass and watch my kids goof off with the water. Plus, on a hot day, the water seems warmer, not cold, which is a plus. No one wants tap cold water.
I started going to this splash pad last summer and it was really great. It's not super big but that's okay because it keeps the kids contained. The area is gated and there is a little grassy spot where I like to sit and watch the kids. The whole park where the splash pad is located is really great and I like that the splash pad is not far from the bathroom and from a play area. It's just a fun place for the kids and I'm looking forward to going again this summer.
So awesome! Especially if you have multiple kids, because it is fenced in. Has great shade from trees, and a park right next to it. Has a bathroom just a few steps away. My kids enjoy it
Basic splash pad, its gated. They have a park and a shelter with 2 picnic tables right there too. There's a few benches around the splash pad. Most people create their own set up by bringing lawn chairs, blankets, food, etc. They are open everyday 10am-7pm and it's free:
We recently enjoyed Grayslake Fest here. A beautiful spacious park, music, good food & fireworks brought community out for a memorable summer night!
Love this place because the have a deep end of 12 feet deep but they also have 1-5 foot deep water before that. I like how you can just swim in the deep end and try to go to the bottom rather than just diving in and just getting out. They have slides as well. Good place to go for a few hours
Love this place although I wish parents would leave their kids toys at home. Toddlers just want to chase the kids for the toys instead of having fun and having my baby stepping on your kids toys isn't very fun for anyone.
Great enclosed splash park! There are some shady trees to tuck under as well. It is located next to a nice big park that ranges in all age groups. It is also walking distance to the Grayslake pool!
