Granted at 9am on a Thursday, not much is open at this Kansas City Airport. I had the misfortune to come across this place. I would have been happy if it was just average. It fell far below expectations. Bagel wasn’t heated properly, the “egg” was just microwaved without a semblance of flavor. Every bite made me regret spending the $9. Not a doubt in my mind that you can find better breakfast sandwiches at almost any gas station. The owners should be embarrassed to peddle such garbage
Scanned price didn't match marked price $3.50 vs $3.99 and the staff declined to honor the marked price. In many places this is against the law, but I suppose when you are the only open establishment in an airport that is honestly an embarrassment to its city for food concession management, you get to make up whatever rules you want.
Read online that they were 24 hours, but it looked like they were still setting up. I asked a blonde woman who I assume was the manager if they were open and she responded really aggressively "NO" while visibly angry with my question. I'm not usually a stickler for customer service, but she was way out of line.
Good coffee they only serve drip coffee and good selection of freshly prepared bagel sandwiches both for breakfast anytime and lunch/dinner. If you are hungry and need a bite to eat this is a good choice.
Only one person behind the counter taking orders and making the sandwiches. She is really hustling but she forgot one of our items. I feel for her because she’s alone and really trying to keep up. They should have at least one more person on staff.
There are so few places to eat in the KC airport and this is one that's OK. It's outside security but still crammed into a hallway. There are no places to sit and eat so get your food, go through security and then eat.
Good bagel, quick service, price is fair
Before I start the review, I would like to tell all the restaurant-goers, do not go to this restaurant. First of all there was only one employee working and he was very slow. He did not speak loud enough for us to hear, so we were all straining to at least get one word out of him. Second, the food was sub-par when compared to the ridiculous price of $8.49 a bagel. It was not a restaurant but more of a dumbed down deli. I would recommend you do not try this subway copycat fiasco.
Average. I’ve been a number of times and they are often out of product, specifically the Tomazillo bagel. Service is ok. Food tastes pretty good. Not my favorite, but if hungry at the airport and need food, you can try here. Don’t expect great service though.
