They are by no doubt simply the best at what they do. I live in Eau Claire and have been so disappointed in companies here. They truly go above and beyond. I recommend them to every one.
After living in our home for almost 20 years, we finally had our fireplace cleaned and serviced. The technician Jason was fabulous! He was was an absolute professional! Our fireplace looks better today than it did when it was brand new. We HIGHLY recommend Great American Fireplace.
Great American Fireplace exceeded my expectations! Janet and Danielle we're extremely patient and knowledgeable as they worked with me over several weeks to select the right wood stove for our family. Their installation team was prompt, skilled and professional. I encourage anyone looking to install a fireplace to give them call. Their customer service was second to none.
Showed up. Turned it on. Didn’t clean it. Said it wasn’t one that they would clean. Had it on and just talked to each other for half an hour. Then left. Was charged full price. They did absolutely nothing. Not even advice on the stove. Don’t recommend them.
They do amazing work, and the staff is always friendly! The only negative experience I've had is their scheduling! It's happened to me a couple of different times so far that I was told they were going to be there to either do the stone work, hook up the fireplace, etc. and no one showed up! The last time it happened, I was told they would be there in the afternoon. I ended up calling the store to see where they were. When I talked to the lady, she said they were only going to come if they had time. They told me they were coming in the afternoon and would give me call if it happened to be earlier in the day. Needless to say, they really need to have better communication between the installers, mason's etc. I'd rather be told they can't be there for a couple of weeks, than rearrange my schedule to make sure I'm home, and nobody shows up!
Nice people but all they wanted was my money. Told me I couldn't have my stove welded and and gave me a estimate for almost $7,000. Had a licensed welder come out and fixed the crack and it is working beautifully. .
Friendly staff and I was fortunate that they were in the area the day I called. They were able to come out and resolve my problem quickly. Both the service man and the woman who took my call were very friendly and helpful. Much appreciated!
Loved the fireplace install but, when we had an issue with a dry stack piece coming loose and falling off after only 2 years, the customer service was awful! After 4 weeks of no replies, my husband finally stopped in and was told: "the adhesive to fix was not in stock but, you can buy it at menards".
I wasn't looking to purchase at the time, just getting info on their pellet smokers. The women at the front desk were very friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable about their products. Best I could tell, prices seemed within the average.
Seem to be disorganized. Sent emails that went on answered. I would then call and leave a message and they would tell me they would get back to me the next day but never did. It seems like after I paid for the order the customer service went down. And the follow-up is not any better. The work that the workers did in installing the fireplace was wonderful but like I said the customer service not so great right now
